  • Easy DIY Beaded Wrap Bracelet For Beginners!

    October 25, 2025

Easy DIY Beaded Wrap Bracelet For Beginners!

Julianna C Avelar makes learning how to create a wrap bracelet on a bead loom a breeze! She uses the Large Wisdom Warrior Loom, which is great for long beaded projects, so you do not have to stitch pieces together, like you would on a regular bead loom to create a long project.

Jewels starts with explaining how to warp the loom, including how to determine the spacing between warps, when using different size beads. She also gives hints about weaving the beads between the warps. You will also learn how to remove the bracelet from the loom and add a button closure. By the way, the more wraps you want, just make the bracelet longer to your desired length.

    Transcript:

Hello. Oh my gosh, it's been a hot minute.
Yeah. So, hopefully I've got everything dialed in correctly and and look at who
just walked in the room. Of course, Marlon Brando, the one and only, has to make his his appearance. So, I'm just
going to come over here and check in on the different um that we are
and make sure that everybody knows where they are, where they're going. Here's
    the YouTubes, folks. Hello everybody.
Okay, so hello everybody on Facebook, too. So, we
haven't been streaming to Facebook. And I thought, hey, let's let's do that
again. Hey, Zach. Let me see. I think I'm going to have to put my glasses on because I like to pretend that I can
see, but it's not going very well. Hi. Yes, long time no see. So, my studio was down for about two months.
Yeah. Um, and so that was no bueno. Anyway, back up and running. And so we
are streaming to Jewel uh the Juloom page, the Juliana page on Facebook and
to the YouTube channel. So I'm super excited. Um today we're going to focus
on the Jewel Loom Jewel Box Creative Soul Kit for October. And look it I made
some earrings. I'm so excited about them. They're really sassy. I like them a lot. So, I've got a really cool pair
of earrings that I made with the kit. I also made um a ring, a beaded ring.
And what we're going to work today is the super cool wrap. So,
a hi cousin. My cousin is here. And so, yeah. So, we've got a wrap. This one
happens to be three times around. I think I'm going to focus on like two.
We're going to be here for a long time. Um, couple things. Let's see. What do we got going on? The monthly kit is 99.9
times uh focused on using the Jewel Loom. And
this kit definitely uses the Jewel Loom for October. However, because of the
wrap, I brought in the big girl.
So, I'm gonna work on the large wrist warrior today. And it just makes it a
little bit easier when you're working on long projects, but full disclosure, you
can totally use the jewel loom to make a wrapped multi- wrap bracelet. So,
if you got that, that's great. And just to kind of give you a visual, here's the Jewel Loom jewel box.
And every month, this is what everything comes in. It just like matches me. I
wore blue. Okay, so let me just say, hey, Jenny is
here. My cousin Sierra is here. My beautiful cousin. You are doing such a great job as a mom. You're killing it. I
love it. I'm so proud of you. And Zach is here. I'm going to peek over to the YouTubes really quick and see if I can
see um Okay, so people are popping up on both sides and it looks like maybe I can
see everybody. All right, so what we're going to do is we are going to go down
to the overhead. So I'm going to bring you down to the table
and I'm going to do my best to to pretend that I know what I'm doing
here. Okay, awesome. I did good.
I get to keep my job. All right. Okay. So, I'm just gonna move some stuff out of the way. I do want to show you. So,
here's another look at the wrap bracelet. It's so cool. Now, these beads
are extra. So, these are agots. These are in the shop. And I just wanted to do something cool to the ends of the warps
instead of like cutting them off or just leaving them. And so I strung on some
beads. And I think that looks pretty stinking cool. But for this month, the
kit has four, let's see, let's get this positioned correctly. We've got four different strands of the check two hole
beads. Uh, and they've got the laser print, the laser um
on them. Aren't they so beautiful? Like a swirly sun. And then this one I love, love, love. It's like a deep hot pink.
These are all kind of like a cranberry. So, four uh four full strands. And then
I wanted to add like a little bit of a a baby pink in there. So, you've got some
baby pink in that kit. We've got some gorgeous seed beads. um bugle beads, which are really, really
fun to work with. I'm going to show you what I did with those. Um, rose quartz,
yummy rose quartz. And then these beautiful coins. These are also like a
Look how pretty those are. I thought that'd be fun to like if you wanted to make a choker, you could play around
with these and add them to that piece. And then Robert made us a rose.
So, we have a rose button. All right. So, let's let's go ahead and scooch
these things over. And I'm going to take my ring off so
that I can have the ability to really get in here.
Okay. So, with the wisdom warrior, we're going to be doing a lot of back and forth because it's it's always an
interesting process to get this big girl in here.
I think so too, Jenny. I sat here and I made it yesterday and I really I think
this is like such a finishing touch to the whole bracelet. And by the way, I
just used my colored pencils. You could put a coat of resin over your wood
button if you wanted it to be shiny, but I didn't do that, but I could because I have. All right, so I am using Himiques
cord, my favorite. And by the way, I've got their whole line in the shop, all of their um cords. I've got the different
sizes. And I I'm carrying it by the bigger spool because it just makes sense
price-wise. So, what I'm doing right now is I'm tying the cord to the top button on the
large wisdom warrior. And I'm just going to give you full disclosure. Darling Brando is like attached to me right now.
I don't know what his problem is um other than his mommy and he just is like a three-year-old. So, he is in the
houseing already. So, all right. So, what I'm going to do
is you can see how I grab the hip cord with my hand. And I'm just going to be
doing two warps. So, I'm going to focus on the middle of the wisdom warrior. So,
I'm going to bring this down and let the cord just lay into one of the uh the
grooves right there. And then I'm going to bring it down all the way to the other end. And just bear with me because she's
she's a long girl. Okay. And by the way,
um if this looks different than the loom that you have, we did recently put
    the Esther um
symbol. Took this from the back of the loom and we put it on the front of the loom. It's not even hit the website yet.
It's something that we just did. I I felt the need to do that. And so the
original artwork had a book and um and that was super cool, too. All right. So,
what I'm going to do now is I'm going to skip. Let me see. One.
Let me do this way. One, two, three, four. So, my biggest bead is going to be
a two-hole bead. All right? It's a square. And so even though I'm going to be using seed beads and a bugle bead um
and a round bead, a couple different round beads, you want to pick out the biggest bead from the mixed variety of
beads and then make warps as wide uh to accommodate that big bead. So in this
case, we're going to see four. And that's what we did right here. And then I'm going to bring it up.
Just want to make sure I didn't lose any tension. And then I'm going to turn around again.
This is where we need a a studio overhead. Okay. So, we're gonna um I'm
just going to put that big spool. By the way, actually, I think the spools that I'm selling are these guys, I think. So,
you have to look at the jubil.com site to um to see, but I'm pretty sure it's
that size. Okay. So, let's see here. What do we got going on? One, two,
three, four. Is that right? Okay. So, now what I'm going to do is just um come
under the button, wrap a couple of times, and I'm going to go ahead and stand up really quick because I need to
    cut and then tie.
Whoopsie. Okay, there we go. Yeah.
So, I literally just took the first tail and then that and then the tail that I ended up with after I cut it.
He is so mad right now. I do not know what's wrong with that dog. He is such
He's s They call him Velcro dogs, like the Frenchies. And honestly, I feel like
the older he gets, the more of one he becomes. All right,
so that's it. That's here. I'm going to just try to do kind of like a vanna here. That's our That's our warped large
wisdom warrior. And so it's very very similar to when we're warping our jewel loom. It's really the same dance. Um
it's just a bigger loom. So all right, I already have my wildfire
onto my Jewel Loom needle. This is their new lilac. It is gorgeous. I think I've
only got two left in the shop and so people have been getting the October kit and the lilac. Um, and I can share all
of that together, so that's a good thing. Anyway, love, love, love wildfire. This is a point. 06. I've just
used that forever. Um, but you know, you might have something that you enjoy
using and that's cool. I just like that.
Okay. So, I'm just gonna add my wildfire. And you know, to not to not
to not it's really your preference, okay? Like
sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. Danielle has like her own little trick that she does. Everybody kind of has
their thing. And however you want to do it, I don't really think it's a problem.
Okay. Let's just give you some direction here. The needle and thread are my left
hand and this is my right hand. So, let's see. Can we get the everybody in there together? Dirty. Sorry about that.
I'm a working girl. Uh, so yeah, left hand has the needle free hand. Over here is my right hand. And I'm going to take
the needle and thread. And I'm coming under the warps. And because the large
wisdom warrior is 20, what is she 24 in long? I guess 24 25 inches long. She's
actually like tucked underneath my arm. So, here's here's my pointer finger. And
so, she's she's like tucked underneath my arm and kind of hanging off the table. And it works for me. Again, that
positioning is going to be totally up to you. All right. So, what I'm going to do first is I'm going to grab one of the
two beads and I'm going to let that fall.
And the reason I'm working down from the top grid right here is that I need to
have the warps in order to add my button. All right. And on the opposite
end, I need some warps to add my loop. Okay.
So, things you want to know. If I was doing a hatband, I would probably go as
close to the grid as I could. All right. So, I just popped that
square two-hole bead up and in between the warps. And I'm going to use my pointer
to help secure it. So, she's just laying on my on my pointer. That's my finger.
All right. And I'm going to take the needle and thread and I'm going through the top hole because remember there are
two holes in this bead. So, I'm on the top going through the top hole. And you
can kind of pinch the um the square bead. I like to just
really help to guide that first one because look at it's kind of like all wonky and it goes every other way. So I
just like to help it. Now what I need to do is I'm going to take my pointer and
I'm going to push the bead down. So it's like in a straight up and down position
and the holes. Let's see if we can't get a peeky. See the holes? Those bottom
holes. Ah, there we go. That bottom hole is now under the warps. So, what I'm
going to do again, this is my left hand with the needle. This is my right hand. So, I'm taking
the needle from the left side and I'm going through the bottom hole beads.
Just do a little wiggle wiggle to make sure I'm through there. And again, I'm just going to help guide it. I'm working
with a lot of wildfire. I think I've got about two yards on this needle.
And then I'm going to pop it back up just like we did the first time. But this time I'm going to go through the
bottom hole. And my needle is on
top of the warps. Do you see that?
All right. And then I'm going to push it through.
And boom. And so what's really important too when we're pulling, do you see? Whoops.
Where we at? See how stand still. See how the wildfire is really nice and
wrapped around the warp? You want to make sure that you get it just tight enough so that you don't have like this
little ribbon sticking out. There's nothing that will drive me more crazy
than that happening. Okay, so the next thing that I want to do, let me see if I
can't get these guys in here. Okay, these are really Oh, and I for you know
what? These guys are in the kit, too. These gorgeous um gorgeousness. There's
a lot of stuff in the kit. I I'm trying not to use all the kits because there's literally I think only five left. So,
I've been like I've been like, "Okay, only use like only use one kit and make it go as far as it possibly can so the
rest of them everybody else can enjoy." Okay, so I'm going to pick up the bugle.
And here's a tip. Okay, the um the Jewel Loom needle, the eye in the Jewel Loom
needle is very it's big. It's kind of big compared to other needles. Let me
see. It's kind of hard to tell, but it is thick up there. It's a killer needle. Like, it's the only needle I use that
sometimes when you're going through a seed bead or like the bugle bead. Um,
it it's too big. Now, full disclosure, I only had maybe three bugles that I
couldn't get back through. And so, if that happens, then you just, you know, you take them off the string and you
find a bugle that'll work. So, let's see what's going to happen. Here's here's Oh, yep. Okay, it worked.
Oh, cool, Terry. Yeah, I love the laser. It's so cool. All right, so that's our
um first one. Now, we're going to go back and we're going to pick another The
hardest part is always picking like what beads you want to do next.
Okay, so I've got another tool.
And I've got that up and in between the warps. And so, do you see um here, let me let
me just bring this up. So, we went four wide. We skipped four grooves grooves
when we were doing our warps, but you can see like the the square fits in there. And then a bugle and one 11 o
equal one square. Sometimes you just have to play around to kind of figure
out what's going to work with what. So, I'm pulling that gorgeous lilac through. I'm going
to push that bead down and then I'm coming back through the bottom hole
and then back through the top there.
And once you get your rhythm down. So my wrap yesterday was 19 in
long. What? Terry is saying your website. Did you go to jewel.com?
Maybe somebody else could try. Terry, you're in the states, right?
Okay. So I'm going to pick up another bugle and another seedbead.
And actually, I want to I want to do the reverse. So, I'm going to pick up a seedbead first and then
a bugle so that I'm kind of alternating.
Hi, a font. I just did a beautiful order for
you. It's sitting over here. Thank you so very much.
Safari and Chrome H. Well, that's not good. Can somebody else
try and see if they're having problems getting digital.com?
Okay, so we're going to pick up Let's pick up one of these pinks. These are gorgeous. These are also in the kit.
Let's see if Let's see if somebody else is having a problem getting to jeweloom.com.
You could um definitely use beading thread for your um watchies, your warp
threads, your watchies. But I really when I'm making the wrap bracelets, I really like going with
Hampton because it's just so much easier. Okay, so now I'm going to pick up a bugle and then a seedbead.
    [Music]
Okay, so it's pretty um pretty simple.
Once you get going, I Let's see. I did How many? I counted
them earlier. How many beads was that? 140 something maybe.
Just depends. like if you want a three three layer wrap or
um right so I am using the large wisdom warrior but
you can use the original jewel loom to do a wrap bracelet. You just have to
there's there's a tutorial I'm going to link to this video on that. So, you
could do that, but you have to kind of start it, remove it. It's not like it's
not hard, but and it's totally doable, but um who can't get to the website? Uh
Terry Terry's having a hard time getting onto the site.
So, I'm gonna um they won't when it's alive, I can't pre what's called the end
cards. I don't know why. It's kind of weird. But um when we're done here, I'll make sure that those links are there.
Okay. So, what did I do last time? A bugle and a seed. So, this time I need to do a seed and then a bugle. And by
the way, you can kind of tell which bugles are chunky and which ones the jewel loom needle
might not go back through. And and I um
I what was I gonna say? I just I can't hold a shorter needle anymore. So, you
know, you don't have to use a Juloom needle. So, it's just in reference to that that
if um you know, if you're having a hard time Oh, wait. Is that the same bead?
You get attracted to the same bead and you forget that you picked it up.
I can't tell. It's kind of getting dark in here. Okay, there we go.
Always interview your beads. Interview? What do you mean? Like
Oh, you mean like test them out like see if they're gonna if they Yeah, you could
do that. I don't know. I don't have but um that is a great tip and some people
might have that especially I would think like on doing seed beads. Yes. Check the holes.
Yeah, I was I was doing so many of them
yesterday that I just became really familiar with like which ones would work and which ones wouldn't. Hey, Rosalinda.
Hey, Terry was saying she couldn't get on to the jeweloon.com website. Can Can you do me a favor and see if you have
    that same issue?
I mean, it was just up, so I don't know. Look at how pretty this is already. So
    pretty.
So, I fed him earlier, like I fed him a little bit and um and he just
he's just hungry more. So, I think that's why he's pouty fleece.
But mama's on mom was working. Hey, Brenda.
So, in addition to the wrap bracelet, which by the way, I want to point out,
you see all these beads that are on my mat right here. Okay? All these. And
then this bag of bugle, what's left here, and this bag
of seed beads. Um, that's after I made a ring and the and the wrap bracelet. So,
and the earrings. So, there's a lot in this kit um to make
you pro. Well, I'm making my second wrap wrap bracelet now. Next week, Danielle
is going to be live with me and we're going to on her necklace.
So, I don't know if you made her of earrings, a beaded
ring, and her necklace, but I think you can. If you see the picture of her of
her necklace, I feel like it's really heavy with the seed beads and not too
many of two holes. So, I have a feeling you could do that, too.
    You were able to. Okay.
the link under more. She is working now. Side is working now.
So odd. Yeah, Shopify. I know. I think there were some um
I think there were things coming. Who knows? Wait a minute. I need to pick
What do I need to pick up? My bugle and then my seedbead. I think I've already lost my pattern.
Not that I was really following one, but it's kind of fun when the seed beads are
are alternating. But see, I'm talking and I'm beating. So,
you could also, if you wanted to, instead of making two wraps, you could
do two rows. Let me show you how I did that on this spring. On this See how pretty that is?
So, this is doing two rows instead of just one. I mean, that
it's pretty substantial that one. Okay. So, I think at this point I'm
going to pick up one of these pretty guys.
So the reason why I'm using the bugle beads and the seed beads is to extend
the quantity of the two holes so that if you wanted to do other things like you
could totally make earrings with um with
the two hole beads. So I like little fillers because they
just make everything go a little bit further.
And so here's an example too of like when I go to put the needle
in to the seedbead and then into the mle. My needle wants to go in at a slant. So
don't don't worry about it not being straight across. You can fix that after you get through it.
    Whoops.
Okay. So, see how that worked out. Let me bring all of this up closer to the camera. Oh, I'm going to have to move my
computer. There we go. And see how that big single hole bead
just really Where we at? Here. I got I'm going to move my computer.
There's one too many parties going on here. Let's move this over.
Okay. Hopefully the whole thing doesn't There we go. So much better. Okay. And then this way because we're working on
the big wisdom. Where did you go? Okay. Hold on. Cracking myself up here. Here
we go. Everything had to move. Okay.
Oh my goodness. I I I love love love the days of being on QVC and HSN and JTV
because you have so many cameras and you just have people everywhere and you don't have to think about um you know
some of these these things, right? But I've gotten better at it. Boy, when
I first started doing YouTube all by myself, I did not like being
was like, I don't like this talking in my ear, you know, because you'd have the you'd have the directors in your ear
and switching cameras and, you know, I don't know if you remember when Kim Boyd
and I did shop at home for a long time and and that's when I was a Cizzix
spokesperson and she would be on here at like 2 3:00 in the morning. Just cracking up having so much fun.
It's always fun to have a buddy. Right.
So, I just want to make sure that I'm getting really am. Okay. So, we're back to the
bugle. And are we still Yeah, we're still on the screen. Good.
So, I hope everyone's been having fun. What have you been doing? What have you been making?
I just been trying to So, um,
so this home is being sold that I've been in at my my family home
and the sewers there had to be um redone. And so
when the guy showed up in August and said, "We're going to get started right
away," I literally moved my entire studio into
the garage like overnight to be accommodating. And you guys, they didn't start.
They didn't start. They didn't start. And I was so upset.
Oh my gosh, I was so upset. And so finally, just what, a week, a
week ago, week and a half ago, they started and got done. And the guy is super sweet, so I can't like be a boo
boo. But I was not a happy girl. So anyway, it's all done. I move back. I
move back in here until it sells. So, but I'm a I'm a traveler, so
whatever. He's gonna make it work, right? Thank
goodness I'm in the I'm in the loom and beating world, so everything is pretty portable.
Not like I have a big machine.
All right. So, yeah. So, you know, you just continue to repeat the pattern and
pick up your beads. And let's see.
I don't know if there's any. I should probably go peek on the YouTube to see if there's any comments I'm missing. But
I think all I think everything is coming up here because I see the YouTube sign and I logo and I see the Facebook
and So, gonna go through that bottom hole.
Lesie um Rondowski. Am I annunciating her? I hope I'm announcing her last
name. I don't know if I'm announcing annunciating her last name correctly. Anyway, she loves to build beads and I
definitely got a lot of my inspiration and love from her.
Oh. Oh. Oh, look. I almost forgot the bugle bead. Is somebody yelling at me going, "Stop. You got to do the bugle
    bead."
No. Okay. So, I hope that I can get this
through. It's easier to take the flats.
And I don't think that's gonna work. Okay. Oh, it did work. Thank you. Thank
you. Thank you. So, let me just get this back in. It's
kind of There we go. A little jumpy. Yeah. You know, and I could feel it, too, when I picked it up. I should have
just Oh, well, it worked out. Okay.
And then I need a different color.
They're just all so pretty. It's Oh, I feel like I haven't gotten any of
these guys lately. Let's do one of those.
Yeah, the necklace that um Danielle made for everybody is gorgeous. And so
the kids are ready to go. Just waiting for the PDF um from Danielle to get that
and then you make a copy of it and put it into your precious box along with
your your tea and your cookie. By the way, we've been doing tea and cookie now
in our um creative soul box for gosh, I think this December, you guys, is going
to be five years. Can you even believe that? And you know what? A lot of you
have been with me for five years and I am so grateful. I'm just like, "Oh my
gosh, there's so many on." But it's been fun. I mean, seriously. Uh
there's just a plethora of of good stuff. 700.
Oh, the I'm like, who is that? 70 out of 100. Okay, that's a secret, though.
Only and I know what he's saying. I know, Brendan. They're so pretty. So
    pretty.
Do we Do we need another big bead? I think we need another big bead.
The the wrap um bracelets are also
awesome for like all of your what do we call that? Our bead bead soup. Like when you have um
when you have extras of stuff. I did get my order in
for this kit and the blue one too. Oh, is that you
at mid ask9? Is that who I've been talking to this week?
Thank you for telling me because I gota I got to add your little treat of if
that's you. I think it's you because you're you just said that what you're
ordering. So, I think that's our conversation. But I don't I don't see your name and I don't know your your
your um that was me. Okay. Awesome. By the way, um I'm like if you have
questions, just email me. You could ask a handful of people right now in this in
these threads. They will tell you like I respond, I talk. It's me. It's not an AI
bot. It's me. You know, if you have a question about
what loom to start with or some of the kits or
anything like that, I totally pretty pretty quick.
Pretty quick. Sorry. The rest of the week is a blur. Make
sure that you um you're watching some of the videos on YouTube like the ones on
how to set up your loom and how your jewel I think some of the most important things um is what is what the jewel loom
is made of. You know, it's made of a a flexible plastic, not a bendable
plastic. Therefore, we got to be really careful not to treat it like it's going
to fold in half. Um, inserting the rod is like super super important. So, I'm
gonna find that video as well.
There's a few of them. And in the playlist, you'll see how to use your original jewel loom. should be uh those
videos that I'm referring to and just make sure that you're watching so that you understand how to set up your loom
    because that's really important.
So, yeah, I love my large wisdom warrior, by the way. And I don't know if I mentioned that she is um the large
wisdom warrior and the small wisdom warrior and the hatband
patterns and the large wisdom warrior stand
which also seems to work just fine for the small wisdom warrior. Those items
are on sale this month for 15% off.
And so, um, that's a nice amount that helps you, you know, like with your
    shipping. So, it's an automatic.
Oh, thank you so much. So, so we got a playlist in here. Is that for the original Jill Bloom?
Yeah. So, those should be automatic discounts because I I put it I put all that into a collection and then um
added a discount to that. So, that's for again that's large wisdom warrior that I'm working on. Look at how rad. Look at
how cool. Wait, where's she at? I should have centered it a little. Look at the
sword. I wish I was a painter because that would be so cool. How can we replicate
that, you guys? I don't think we want to glue our real expensive beads down. We
need somebody who can paint. I've got my girlfriend Tracy. She's a
painter. That'd be so Look at like if you could just like mimic that somehow and the
sword that so gorgeous. Okay, that's for the original. So, a
link was just um added to the chat over here, and that's for the original Jewel
    Lamb playlist.
So, let's just come up a little closer here. See how my lilac thread on the burgundy,
this is burgundy, by the way, hemp cord.
I mean, you could use black, but I don't know. I It doesn't bother me. Like, I
don't I'm not bothered by the fact that you can see the lilac. I think it's
really pretty. It is going to be perfect with the necklace. I I have to think that
what I what I've seen so far is I do believe that you can make one of these and just remember these blue guys are
extra. They don't come in the kit with this pot that I had yesterday and I was
like, "Oh, those are scary. I'm going to use them." So, these are the AGOTs that
are in the shop. But, um, you don't have to do that. That was just like a finishing touch that I thought would be
cool. But I think to your point, yeah, I got a feeling we're going to be able to do the
bracelet and a necklace because if I'm not mistaken, that
necklace I do think she used a lot of the seed beads. Have you done any tutorials with this?
I I just I feel so bad about that darn round. I keep
I leave it on the website because I did it once and I fell in love with it and
then I'm really bad at having just so many babies with these blooms. Um I
    don't I don't think there's I don't think there's a tutorial. We need to do one. I just need somebody to help me. I
can't do I mean I'm so so like sometimes I'll be like oh I'm just going to take it off the website. They're so cool.
They're so cool. The rounds be really cool. Um I need to
get that done. I've been saying that for too long and I'm embarrassed.
Maybe I could find somebody to help me do that.
Trying to think was there anything that I know I demonstrated it once.
Have you if you go to the YouTube's channel and you go to the search bar in the jewel on the jewel p on the jewel
channel and you put in round looms or if you put in circle loom does something
come up because I know I showed it once at least I think.
Correct me if I'm wrong. Peeps, send us a
Danielle and I have actually talked about that and I don't know. I think just with our with everything it's like
h Yeah, I do need to do that.
I think Linda Lee has said she's probably been waiting for a few years.
I laugh. It's not funny. I feel so bad. But it's like there's
I think that's I really do like to in all fairness I feel like that's the only that's like not had an abundance of
love. I don't know why because it's super cool.
    Super super cool.
Rosalinda, you want to make something on the round loom? [Music]
It's like, where's Mikey? We'll get Mikey to do it. We'll do Rosalind. Rosalinda.
We'll send it to you. And poor Rosalinda. She's trying to get her
craft room organized. She's sends me pictures periodically of her progress.
And what where she's aiming to go is like super cool.
Let me I think I need to scooch up. Okay. So, at this point,
um uh I've got her bottom now is like on the table. So, she's she's gone from
being under my Well, she's still like under my arm, but her bottom part is also
Kim. A that's so sweet of you. I miss you. Oh my gosh, when I see my industry
girlfriends pop up, man, we've had the time of our lives in this industry.
Kim is Oh, and Brando's down here moaning. Holy cow. Kim, who just popped
in, is um actually from the paper side of my life. And Kim did a lot with
Spellbinders. And um I was thinking about that time that Stacy flew in all of the designers
from like all over the world and we were we had limos to pick up everybody.
Remember that? Gosh, I'm pretty sure there was champagne involved, but
that was the fun time. Wait, what did she say here? A quick
search did not result. Okay. and and that was on the um that was on the
YouTube channel. I know I'm sure I wonder where it was. I
wonder if it's in the school. I'll have to go look in the school and see if it's over there.
    Yes. And yes, on Yes.
Fun times. Some of the greatest memories. Oh, I think I have I need to use
Yeah. And I'll look in the school. I There might be something behind a a closed wall. Um
    I'm not sure.
Yeah, we also had this other line that I'm tempted to bring back because I was thinking about it today. There's content
out there and I know Robert's
put up with me. What did I just do? Okay, be careful when I'm talking and
doing um the fiber loom because the fiber loom
is just really a great fiber loom. it's and um and there's extra content out
there for that. I was just thinking about wow somebody sees content they might want they might want the loom. Hey
Sherry, I love seeing all the creative little peeps in here.
So, for those of you that got last month's letter um in your box,
um I mentioned to you about the we refer to it as called SMS, right? But that's
texting. So, like if you are on somebody's website and ask if you sign
up for, you know, SMS or texting, um
that's what that is. And so there was an issue and still is an issue going on in
the state of Texas where all these I can't even explain it. It's
the bottom line is like if you don't have things dialed in with texting
Texas folks which is crazy because like when I lived in Jersey I had a 805 area
code which is not New Jersey. So the thing is like with Texas like people take their phones with them all over the
country. So you don't really know that you're texting or calling somebody
who's really from their area, right? I mean that's just the way it is. So anyway, point is that Texas has this new
law about communicating via text with people and if you don't
blah blah blah, you face like a $5,000 fine and then if you want to be
registered or something, it's going to like $10,000. And I was like, what is the Gibbies? So,
I had to tell the community last month that I had to stop the texting because
mama's mama's not paying. So, uh, but we did get the regular SMS
texting. I'm going to write you another letter and, um, hope you appreciate that
kind of communication. But, um, yeah. So, if you wonder why there hasn't
been texting, that's why I had to shut it down because I was too
I was too worried. And somebody appealed it, but it doesn't
I don't know if it's going to go if it's going to get resolved or like more clarified. I mean, I get it. like you
don't want to be like if I get text, oh my gosh, are you guys getting the one
where I've got a job for you and blah blah blah and it goes out to like a group of 30 people or something and
you're just like what? And it's totally like those definitely are not cool. But
um but I should just be able to text other people like without being worried about
$5,000 fine or registering something for 10. I mean, come on. This business
anyway. Um, we have some things and so I I won't
be going to jail, but do make sure that you are signed up
on the Julim website to get text messages and um
yeah, so if you go there, there's like a little I know I delete all those too. I delete
and report junk. Oh, I just did two. That's okay. Not a
glue. See, I'm talking and I just need two vehicles. Not a paper.
In fact, let me show you what I did on the end of this one just to like make up for space. So, I
kind of went off. See, like I started putting
multiple multiple rows of bugle beads
just to take up some more space. Okay, so
where are we at? I think we're doing okay. We'll see how this goes. And I might take it off the loom early just to
kind of show you. If anything, we'll have a bracelet. A short one.
It does take a little bit of time when you're trying to talk and and bead, but
oh my gosh, yesterday was like, was I It is. Oh, I'm glad you said that
word. So, um I got Canada dialed in. I
wish I had I wish I had the applause button. Um, so long story short, I used
to ship everywhere and all was well in the world. And then
about a year and a half ago, maybe two years ago, I don't even know. I I I've lost track of time since 2020. Um, I
started using Shopify Markets, which was awesome because I wanted to make sure
that my people um, my customers were getting the right
amount for, you know, duties and all that good groovy stuff, right? So one day I discovered that they had the looms
the HS code they had the looms as tricycles and I was like OMG
like that is not going to work. I totally I shut down international and then I just for the life of me could
never get any help. So I finally got Canada back up and running. So I'm
excited about that. I've been watching I watched one of the orders the other day
was able to ask the customer if they like you know what happened did you have extra charges was everything good
everything was good so super stoked about that so um I'm feeling confident about turning on international which is
which will open us up in the UK and back in Australia and South Africa and
everywhere else we And so, um, yeah, I'm really excited
about that. Anyway, that just trigger you were listing the things off, so you just
    triggered my mind.
Okay, happy stories. Let's see. Um, oh my gosh, I feel like I'm I haven't been
    using. Is it this?
Okay, Rosalinda, she's still here. She didn't respond to
working on the round lamb. She's like, I'm out.
I'm out. I'm not doing the round lamb, Jules.
It's driving me crazy now. I can't I'm just I know it's got to be somewhere because I definitely demonstrated them.
Like I demonstrated them because I ended up selling the samples.
I sure hope it works. We shipped games for my job and some customer had to pay.
Yeah. Well, the Shopify marketplace is what I use and I'm using them because
they have all of that dialed in. Um, how things got changed over the tricycles,
I'm not sure, but that's all resolved. So,
what's the matter, Bubba? Can't you wait?
Oh, he needs like his own I don't know his own full-time chef maid.
So, for those of you that don't know, I have a French bulldog. His name is Marlin Brando.
It is spelled with an I M A R L I N because at the time he was a dog. Um,
and so he was always on boat. So it was Marlin like the fish,
but he definitely is Marlin Brando. He is I'm telling you
the female dogs around here is so funny. Like the people will be like, "My dog
hates everybody." And then their female will be so up in his business.
And I'm like, "He's the man. He's Maro.
Sherry says she has a circle for a long time but never saw how to use it. Oh my god, Sherry, I know you want to like
beat me with it. All right, I have a set here. So, I promise
it's just not even okay. I don't know how that happened. Isn't it weird that there's like tutorials on everything but
the circle? Like, why is that? It's kind of weird.
We're just always doing something. I feel like we're just always doing something, right? We have the box. We
have all these looms and then it's like, "Oh, let's add let's add a circular loom. Let's just do
that." But it's Yeah, we gota we got to do
something on that because really there is a technique to like getting it started. and Robert made
these like really cool grooves for them. And so
you guys are amazing. Okay, let's see. Um, we've been at this
for an hour. I fe I feel like even if I do something short, let me see where we're at.
So, right now, yeah, even if I did a a singular
wrap, we'd have to go to 13. And that's probably going to take like another minutes. I bet you maybe would like to
    see um see
taken off. What do you think? Our minds jump around
too quickly. Yes. Yeah. I'm slightly crazy with my looms
because first of all, I love weaving. I want everybody to weave. I want you to weave
like in all the ways possible. Let me do a couple more. We'll just do a
    couple more for giggles.
I know, Bubba. You're not gonna starve, though.
Yeah, Trisha is amazing. There's a lot of um there's a lot of videos that both Trisha and Amber um did for Jul. forever
appreciative of that. But I think both of them are like on their own journeys now. And Trisha actually was doing stuff
with Jesse James. I think she might have even been doing
boxes with Ponic. Am I pronunciating that correctly?
Yeah. Trisha did a lot of cool stuff.
    really beautiful work.
Oh, am I off the screen? There we go. I'm like, wait a minute. I can't even
    see what's going on.
It wasn't on a loom, but it was on a tassel. And um I got hot pink lipstick
on it. It was so funny. I was like, I think it's lipstick on
    products.
All right. What are we doing here? What are we doing?
Yeah. Treats. And well, his right before I came out here, his order came to the
door. So, I get him um
I get him cattle cattle from a cattle ranch. So, I
order I order the burgers and the Angus for him. He's got really
bad issues with his allergies and um Frenchies are just a mess.
    Absolute mess.
Bubba, but you're cute. You're a pain in my butt, but you're cute.
He's like literally standing on my legs. I mean, the dog sleeps with me all night. Like, he sleeps on my legs all
flipping night, right? And then he's just like, I'm trying to work in the morning. I'll
post some pictures tomorrow. And he's got his head on my left arm, so I can't
I have to do everything with my right, dude.
But that's okay. We only get them for a period of time. So,
he can drive his mama nuts. He's cute.
This is where um I ever tell you the story about when I taught at jewelry television and these women came in hot
and heavy, man. Oh my gosh, they were so funny. They were talking like they hadn't left the house in five years.
They were, oh my gosh, they were sassy and flashy and so happy and Oh, well
that's funny. That's what happens when you don't. So, that was good little uh moment
there. And anyway, they would just Oh my gosh, they were so on fire.
And Oh, thank you. have a good time. Um, and
so yeah, so they were just they were on fire and they wouldn't they
just wouldn't stop talking and so got them all set up and then once they
started weaving the whole room just got silent and I was like, "Oh my gosh,
it was so adorable." It was like getting a kindergarten class like calm down, right? Come on, kids. Calm down.
Anyway, all right. I'm gonna do this one.
And even though, let me measure because I
don't want it to go to waste. But you can see like for sure we'd have
enough beads to do two two wrap bracelets. Um, oh, and I just realized I have to do
one more. I have to do one more um shoe hole. Well, that's gonna look
silly. All right, I get it. I'm going to do a couple more rows
because it's not going to work. I need to have See my big guy here. I
need to have at least another four tables.
So I mean this is recorded or will be recorded. So if you have to go and and
do whatever if you have to leave me I understand
but I'll just so that we can have something
fridges are a situation. Yes they are. Yeah, he was um a very long story and he
he was a gift. I would never pay money like that. He was gift
um basically I took custody of the gift
if you know what I mean. And um yeah, I've spent
I've spent thousands of dollars on this dog at
Like I run a business for my dog.
I'm selling looms and beads for my dog.
    More in here.
So yeah, so yesterday with 19 inches long, I did 19 inches long for the um
the one that wrapped around three times and I had my timer on. So, it literally
was like 90 minutes and we're talking and we're going back and forth here and
it's just a little more challenging. I got to do but that's breaker.
Nobody's ever going to know. Don't tell anybody. Just between us.
Oh. Oh my gosh, Jules. Okay, I'm gonna do one more because I must be getting tired.
I forgot to go through. Is anybody screaming like, "Jules, you forgot to go
through the bottom hole." So funny.
At least I fig at least I saw it.
Okay. All right. So, what do we have? I think Let me Let me just measure. Let me see
where we're at. So, we're at 11 in. Um, yeah. To get around my wrist, I need
    at least 13. Oh,
so so Joey lives dog next door. He's old
guy. He's like I don't know. He's like his human passed away. So, my mom's next
door neighbor took Joey. Oh my goodness. I'm live.
Yeah, you don't have to tell the whole world.
It's just Joey. Anyway, Joey does not like being left alone. And so if my mom's neighbor has
to whatever go to work or whatever, he that dog,
he'll start barking and then Brandon starts barking and I'm like, "Oh my god,
it's so funny." like do and he and he runs. He runs from
one end of the house to the other end. Then he comes out here and he busts open the studio door.
He's protecting his mom. Are you protecting me?
    I think Joey might 12 or 15. I don't know.
He's an older dog. Oh, thanks Andre. Yeah, they're so pretty.
    They're super pretty colors.
I have a rug that these colors.
Oh gosh. Okay, so what can I tell you about December's kit? So, so we are in
our two-hole era. Let's just put it. We've been in our twohole for a few
months now. And um if you're newer to the creative soul box to the um by the
way, we call it a subscription box. You can subscribe or you can pay as you go. And hopefully there'll be something
left. Um but usually we're sold out. This month I made more boxes so we have
more boxes. But um so when I get a good deal on something, I always share it
with the creative soul people and they could tell you that like I've done that for years. And so the two holes I got to
scream and deal. So we've been two whole beads. This two hole check
beads have been in kits for a couple months. So, November and December um we
have two holes and but in December
we have freshwater pearls. Like I spent a buttload on these on these pearls, you
guys. And I got them in Tucson. And they're so pretty. So that's December.
And there's I think there's a couple strands of two holes, but I'm again like spent a fortune on the on the pearl.
Originally, I was going to use them for something else and then I was like, you know what? Let's split them apart and
share them with the creative soul group. So, that's going to be fun. I haven't sat with them yet to think about what I
want to do with them. Um, and then yeah, so then next year, which
I've already started planning, uh, your P. Oh, you'll love these then, Sherry. Seriously, they're teal pearls.
There's cream and terracotta. Like, they're so flipping gorgeous. I
can't believe I I spent a lot of money on. And then I was like, "Okay, well, I'm
gonna share them with the girls." Um, and then next year we're going to go
into some free form making with uh the kits
and we're going to take it throw it back to the 90s when I first started looming.
And so they're going to be a combination. And they're based on if you have the jewel inspiration, they're based on the ocean's desired
um bracelet. So there's just like every like chances
are not every kit's going to be the same because I've been collecting all the
    beads, buying beads, gemstones, etc.
They're going to be really thick kits. And that's for 26.
So that's the story there. Who was around when we did the hats?
When everybody got a hat? Remember that we did um I shipped out Well, first of
all, in 21 the creative soul um community, everybody got a large wisdom
warrior. Remember when she first came out? I was so sick, too. Like, I got so
in 2021. You know what I'm talking about? And um and I was laying in bed
and everybody was getting their warrior. And I'm just like, you girls got to figure it out.
Like, I am so sick. I can't tell you anything right now. Like, just play
around. Just warp her like she's the jewel. And everyone was awesome though. That was so fun. Everybody did such a
good job. I know, buddy. And you got your new
hamburger just came in. You're gonna be so happy. I know. All right, I'm going
to measure. Oh, let me see. Did I get it? Where am I at? This is like the slowest 13 inches ever.
Oh, I'm almost there. Like maybe one more.
Thanks for hanging with me. This is a little bit longer than normal, but hey, you know what? That's okay.
I got to get in there. Okay.
Yeah, I think everybody got um beads to do like a a fire polish hatband, right?
I think. Oh, and we did a That's right. Is this not
okay? Oh, yeah. So, I got to back out. This bugle beads
um too thin. Oh, or was it the ch bead? I don't know what it was. Anyway, I'm
just sliding it off and down so that I don't have to res.
All right, let's try that again.
Yeah, I think we were doing a choker. We did a choker. We did um a fire polish
    hatband. Yeah, that was crazy.
Then we did everybody got was it that everybody got a hat the next month? Oh my gosh, I remember making all those hat
boxes. My mom was like, "Every hat." Yes.
You get a hat and you get a hat and you get a hat.
That was funny. Oh, okay. You could tell that I'm getting
tired. I'm not even I'm not even getting the first hole here.
    I don't know why I'm tired. It's 15 except for I did wake up at like 4:30
    this morning for some reason.
Okay. So, let's see. Let's see if that at least gives us 13. You do want to
close um with a with it. Let's see how
close Oh. Oh, I need one more.
Oh, okay. I'm just going to do one more for giggles.
Plus, I don't want to waste my thread. So, let's go ahead.
    Let's see.
Let's just get one more in here
and then I think we'll be good. The the question of the day is what color are we going to go with? They're all so funny.
    What haven't I used?
Oops. Oh my goodness. How many warps can you fit on the large
wisdom war? It's the same footprint. No, it's not. Um,
    how many how many? Um,
my gosh. I think it's on the website. I don't know right now. It's three. No, it's 4
inches wide. It's four inches wide. So,
    I'd have to look. I'm sorry. I can't remember right now. I think it's
on the I think it would be on the product page. If it's not, it should be.
Okay. So, I'm going to end with that. And And what I'm going to do, and the reason why I want to with a uh two-hole
is that I want to go ahead and to secure my
my um I'm barely in the camera, guys. Sorry. I want to secure the thread.
So, I'm just tying a little bit of a knot there. And then I'll come back with
    the wildfire burner and um
Okay. So, we're going to just snip that. And then I want to cut off on
    this end up here.
I'm going to get our big girl out of the way here. Let's see what we got going on.
    So pretty.
Just see what's going on. I'm pretty sure that's going to be good to wrap for me.
Yeah. Okay. So, so what we want to do is we're going to
take we'll take like the shorter Oh, turn this guy.
    What happened?
I just want to get another. I love the flat nose pliers because they
kind of get Oh, 64. Thank you.
I knew somebody would know. And who better than Robert?
Who better than Robert? Okay. So, it looks like these guys are a little
frayed. So, I'm just gonna kind of give them a little bit of a point.
So, I'm just going to take and put these into the beautiful
rose. Um, [Music] then I just like to
I know, buddy. I still didn't get you any broccoli.
Darn it. I totally forgot. I got to do that tomorrow. Yes, I cook for him. Sometimes we have
So, I'm just going back down through the hole
    sides here.
And just so you know, all of the wood products are made to order. We don't um
we don't let the ladies dec. So, we um we make them once the order comes
in. so that the wood stays nice. And
we usually say seven to 10 days, but honestly, we do tend to get them done a little
quicker, but we don't want anyone to be disappointed. So, okay. So, then what I'm going to do is
just pull these so that they're nice and tight. Bring it down here.
I'm just going to give it a knot. And so you can see why you want your warps on each end to have you want some
space just because it's hard to get your fingers in there. [Music]
Okay. And then we'll just come down to the opposite end. And I'm not sure this one's going to fit
me. So I'm just going to make like a little knot here.
And and I could this is where I could um put the beads to like I did on this.
That's all I did here is I strung some extra beads onto
onto the end. But let's see what's happening. I'm not I'm not sure that this one's going to fit me because it's kind of short.
So it might be might have to be a gift or something. Oh. Oh, look at there. Not only is it
gonna fit, but I bet you I could add the AGOT. Okay. So, 13 inches. I've got a 6 inch
wrist and that was 13 in. So, that worked.
That worked good. And then this one that I made yesterday, I'm going to bring this over here. This
was 19 in and this was about three times. So, one
    Oopsie. One, two.
    Let me find the camera.
Oh my god. Tell me this isn't the most beautiful thing ever. So then I I'm using that as like a loop, right?
Look how cool that is. So this is 19 in on a six inch wrist. I
am going to tell you it's it's a hair tight. And it could be too that I'm like swollen, but excuse me. Um, probably do
20, maybe 19 and a half to 20 if you have a six inch wrist. So if your
if your wrist is bigger than six inches and you want to go around it three times, then I don't know, you could be
looking at what 24 maybe as long as a loom.
I don't know. I am loving this though. I think this is amazing to like string
string the um gemstones and then to do a decorative on the opposite end. I think
that's really cool, too. So, okay, let me get myself back together so I can come up and see everybody before we
    depart. Um find my
find my camera. Switch back to the top like big girl.
survived. I got my peacock hair today, too. So,
don't forget I made I made these earrings. I made these earrings with the October
kit. And you definitely can use the coins.
I know, Brando. Did you take the coins? I don't know where the coins went, but
they were here. Come on now. That's weird. I don't know. That's really
weird. I can't find the coins. Anyway, they come in your kit and those would make really cool earrings, too. And then
the beaded ring. Um, I've got two different wraps, but I'm thinking if you
make one big wrap and then you do Danielle's necklace and we're going to do that in a live next Thursday. And so
again, that's all with this month's Jewel Loom Jewelbox Creative School
edition. Okay. And you can use the original jewel
    loom
to make a wrap bracelet. And I'm going to find that link and put it in the
description in this video. And then you can do two rows of two holes. This was
    what did I count? 142 I think.
And this was funny because I found this piece and I was like, "Oh, where'd you come from?" I think I made this on
on the Sun. And I feel like I actually made it on JT
in November 2019. I could be wrong, but I have a feeling that's how long this has been sitting around. Anyway, I did
do the gemstones to finish it because there was nothing. It was just the piece.
I have so many unfinished projects from demos. Anyway, so that's super cool, right? So, I just like did look at this.
This is how I did that. And then that way it kind of is like a
belt. So, I thought, okay, well, what if you put this through here and then you
would tighten it up, right? And then you could
push it through. Anyway, all kinds of things. There's always something There's always a way to save the
project. Save the day. I appreciate you guys so much. Going to rain on Saturday. Okay, good. You'll be beating then on
Saturday. We just had our rain in California. We've like had tornado warnings. What? So weird. Uh let me know
how I can help you. Seriously, we um if you need help, don't know where to
start. I know we've got amazing looms. We've got like different
different sizes and um and Zach says you have the sun goddess. I know. She's so
pretty. So there's that's the sun weaver. That's the large sunw weaver. This is the ribbon loom. That's the
small sunw weaver. And that's another large wisdom warrior. And oops, you
shouldn't see any of that. Oops.
And this is the small wisdom warrior. And the small wisdom warrior, the large wisdom warrior, and the patterns and the
stand are all 15% off. And you I don't think you have to have a coupon.
Work just fine. All right. Thank you guys. It's like this was 90 minutes. I appreciate you so much. I really do. I'm
glad you I'm glad we stuck it stuck it out and we were able to like get it off the loom and show the finishing because
every that's everybody's like $100 question. How do you finish? There's, you know, several different
ways, but okay. You can wear the blue one as a lanyard. I think so. Yes. That's great.
Yeah. I don't know if it's long enough, but I love that idea. Like, or you could like that, right?
Guess I need to check. Um, it's all month in October, but just
when you're ready, just let me know. We're good. I got you, girl. Okay.
Okay. I love everything. Have a beautifully blessed week. And, um, as
soon as we get the PDF from Danielle, we'll get the copies done and we'll get that all nice and folded and put into
the box. And then those boxes will go out. And I think
I think that's it. So, thank you for your time. I'm such a gem. I love that.
Thank you. Thank you for your patience and thank you. Welcome to the Juul community. So cool. So cool. All right,
guys. Have a beautifully great great night, great weekend. Um and just and
live lived eat good food. All right. I love you.
    I'll see you again.
