oh the moment where I sit here and I like stare at the button is it going to go from Blue to Red is it going to go
from Blue to red and it did it did Joan is behind the controls and so it's four o'clock on
Thursday which means it's jewel loom School live I am your
ooh what do I want to be today let's see well I'm definitely the inventor and the designer of the jewel loom the original
blue jewel loom and um ah
yeah I just want to be I want to be a little bit of your peace your peace
and your kindness and your softness and all of those delicious things to
just be calming and creative and I'm super excited because I'm seeing some
new names here that I haven't seen before um and so welcome welcome this is truly
exciting so again I'm Juliana the inventor of the jewel loom the original blue jewel loom and the baby Loom and um
I also have a lot of wood designer looms and uh lots of really great stuff
courses and and a great shop that I've spent a lot of time on fine tuning in
fact Joan and I were just talking about some things and always trying to make it a better experience for everyone so I'm
super appreciative that you're here we do this every Thursday by the way and so
um every Thursday at 4 pm Pacific Standard Time 7 P.M Eastern Standard
Time uh I come on and um we'll show you how to do something
and so or talk a lot because I'm really good at that too but no typically we
always have something to share and every once in a while Joan will take the helm Trisha might take the helm and so or I
might have a guest Danielle might come on neele might come come on but typically it is myself
um and or somebody else that's fabulous so and of course all of you because without all of you it just doesn't even
really matter right so we're super super um appreciative that you are here that
you're joining us and so as everybody is coming into the room I see Stephanie and
Zach and crafty Steph and Maria um I believe Jeanette was searching that
I got your email I'm going to touch upon that Cynthia is here and Renee and
um yeah let's see Sherry hey girl you were in here early I see that I see the time stamp and so
um oh I guess I can see the little Facebook so I do know if people are commenting from the Facebook or the
YouTube because right now we are streaming live to both the jewel loom Facebook page and the jewel loom YouTube
channel and there's Gloria so um without further Ado um I think I'm
just going to go ahead and get started because some of this is talking today it's about
um hey Betty it's um I'm going to talk about the creative Soul uh monthly
Workshop okay which is a subscription program however you can do a one time
buy-in if you want I would say the big difference is that
if I only make X Y you know a certain amount of kits for the subscribers and
then you really want that kit but you weren't subscribing or you weren't a subscriber and you did a one-time well
maybe there just wouldn't be a kit for you that's probably the biggest thing um I'm trying to make more
I I am actually going to put the intention out there and trust in
God and all of the things and I'm going to start upping my quantities because
um I know in my nowhere I know in my knower that uh that's a good thing so
um anyway yeah so you can subscribe and then you just know that you always have a spot you have a kit and uh or you know
you just buy one at a time and hopefully there's always one available for you so with that said that is the creative
Soul box it is a jewel loom product it is all about the jewel loom
actually um so probably going to start merging I want to make sure that jewel loom is out
there and so it'll probably be the jewel loom Jewel box but what I decided is that it'll be the creative Soul Edition
very similar to what we just did with the check signature where that was the
um did I call it the I think I called it the Prague Edition I can't remember maybe somebody can remind me oh my gosh
it seems like a lifetime since I did that but just to kind of give you um
a better understanding of what it is that the creative soul
Workshop through jewel loom taught by Juliana is okay it's very different than
probably any other subscription box that you may be getting that is
jewelry making related okay
um every month I curate the product
and I would say that um so the uniqueness of this is that
I um for instance this month okay so for instance this month you know my buddy
says hey I just found and when I tell you when he says I just
found that means that amongst his okay I think he's in his 40s he's been
doing this since he was like 12 or 13. so he's got like storages and stuff and
so so he'll come to me periodically like he did with the June product and he'll say hey
I found these blue calcedoni diamond
shaped two hole gemstones uh can you use them on the
loom and I'm like I don't know but I think so send me a strand
so he'll you know he sent me a strand I start doing the Prototype work
and I find out very quickly that yeah oh heck to the yeah it'll work on the
jewel loom and um and then I buy what he has and that's a this is a perfect example where for instance
um I could only make a certain amount of kits because this was in his stash and
there there's just not anymore right so um we have 13 kits by the way that are
left 13. so if you're interested you might want to jump on that they're on the home page
and uh and so so that's an example of like how things might happen I don't buy
a bunch of beads put them in the box and then collectively we all kind of decide how
to do something with it um that's not that is not the creative
Soul program I'm not saying anything bad about the other way because actually April May was kind of like that
but typically it's very technique driven it's
um that I got an opportunity to do you know to buy in on like a really cool bead do you remember when we just did
the 10 was that Joan was at the 10 by 20 millimeter uh two-hole rectangular
shaped yeah so I that's a great example too like I was at the show back in
August at bead Fest and Dakota Stones was there and I saw these 10 by 20
two-hole gemstones and I was like
that'll totally work on the jewel loom I gotta check that out see how I can incorporate it into a project for my
people so uh so every month things are just birthed
differently I kind of have an idea of what I'm going to be doing like right now I've sketched out through the end of
the year but I don't ever let that deter me from something
you know that might come along and um so anyway I guess one of the biggest
things I need you to understand is that you need to be flexible you need to
understand that this is not necessarily about a color palette um you know Melanie um Cher no and I had
a beautiful conversation we were on the phone for well over an hour I don't know a week before last talking about color
and um you know we both are ocean babies we both love
to design make with live around the blues and the greens and the gorgeous
teals I mean that's our Jam but um you know I can't obviously appeal to
everybody's color palette and so you know I would say you also need to be
flexible on that and so with Mel we talked about like hey why don't you sit
with the beads that are not colors that you maybe would have chosen for yourself
and attack it from a technique
direction right instead of oh this isn't my colors you know and she ended up I
don't know if you all saw it the Melanie ended up designing creating the most beautiful long necklace with the
gorgeous heart beads that I brought back from the Czech Republic and I'm just so proud of her because she pushed herself
and and that is what the creative Soul Community is all about
people push themselves people take what I show them and I give them the freedom
I'm like you knock your socks off if you want to do it differently
you do that like I am not here to tell you that you have to do it this way I'm
going to give you things I'm going to hopefully inspire you I'm going to show you some technique and then
um a lot of the people in our group a lot of them will will take that and then
they run with it and they put their own signature on it and that just makes my heart explode with happiness
and I'm also super stoked when somebody decides to do it exactly like I do it
I'm so cool with that um I'm just here you know I'm here I'm behind the helm
[Laughter] so to speak and I'm just like I just want to take you along for the ride have
fun be creative I love weaving on a loom and uh and so my heart and my intention
is to always come from a place of inspiration here's
what I got you know here are these beautiful things here's what I thought I would do with
them and and then you you know either do exactly what I did or you
don't and I'm so cool with whatever you decide to do let's see
I'm just trying to keep I can't possibly keep up with all Joan is doing doing that but I love to read all of your all
of your comments so um let's see so for instance so let's talk
about timing timing is always funny too so a lot of
people and I'm not kidding you when I tell you this is our third year by the way I um am so grateful like beyond words
that the majority of the creative Soul Community they have been with me for
three years and um and so they know how I rock and roll and everyone is like super
um you know they're just very easy going and and it all works out typically the credit cards are charged
at the beginning of the month okay so if that can range anywhere from the 5th to
the 10th and then basically what happens um sometimes in that period of time with
the subscribers maybe somebody's credit card expired or some you know like there
could be like a situation so there's a couple of days where I'm like working with people like hey you know we need to
get a new um expiration date put with your card so I'd like to have a couple of days where
I'm nurturing the accounts and I'm helping everybody to let them know like
I'm not like this big ginormous business where if your credit card has expired I
just like throw you under the bus and I give someone else your kit no I spend
whatever time it takes and I have a couple of people in the community who
are just like Jewel I can't do the beginning of the month and so we we put them on the day that works for them I
that's fine it's not the end of the world I'm good if that's you you just tell me Jules you know what I can't do
the fifth or the 10th can we hit my card on this date yeah because it's good it's not the end
of the world you just communicate with me and all is well and it might be one way one month and it might be the other
way another month I don't care I'm good you just have to communicate with me easy peasy pumpkin squeezy okay
so then what happens is that once I ship out all of the boxes I typically then
start to feed the content into the school so the
content lives on the jewel loomschool.com platform if you're not in
the school already regardless of whether you're a subscriber or not or a single
buy-in I um would encourage you to go over there and
sign up for something free because then you are in the school and if you happen
to buy a bead kit that needs a pattern I go over there
and I grant you access to that easy peasy right you're already in there I
don't have to find you I don't have to add you it makes my life a lot easier
all is well mom is happy right so regardless it would be really awesome if
you did that because you just never know so the other night thank you Jesus that
all the people who bought June I don't know how I got so lucky we're
already in the school and all I had to do was Grant access to the course for
all of them for the June course and now as I start to upload content
they will get an email they will get notification I also have the community
app let's see here I have this little
this little button right here okay that's the community app that I pay for
and it allows me to communicate with the
community so when you become a creative Soul member you text the number and you say creative soul I put you into the
community so then you know that I just uploaded in addition to the
notification from the school I'll tell you hey I just uploaded how to warp the
loom okay and then you can go over there and you can check out the course
um and and get going it's I feed the content in over a period of time
not for any particular reason other than time
so for instance with June okay my intention is tomorrow morning I will
warp the jewel loom for the project for the um for the June
project and I am hoping to to uh do a second do the number two how-to which is
getting started you know adding the beads and so I'll do a couple of those and then I'll text you and I'll let you
know I'll be like hey it actually happened and the first two segments are up the
way that I tape my content is that I do everything in chunks of no more than 10 minutes
and I really Focus on on the technique or whatever it is
that I'm doing video number one is going to be how to warp your jewel loom to
make the diamond gemstone bracelet Right video number two will be adding
um you know your first row of seed beads or whatever it is and and if I find that
I'm going to hit going over 10 minutes I stop I just stop I don't I don't I just
stop and I'm like Hey we're getting ready to hit 10 minutes I'm gonna come back and pick up where I left off the
reason why I do that is that if you have to go back to a certain section you don't have to watch two
hours of content everything is broken down you're like oh I can't remember how many grooves Jules
uh skipped when she was making that diamond bracelet you go to that you go to that video and
boom right it's just right there and uh and so yeah so the content is amazing do
you know that in the beginning we were feeding the content to little Facebook
groups every stinking month I had to open up a new Facebook group
and then you want to know what happened and I always had this platform I don't
know why I just didn't start there but you know what we just do the best we can um
remember the day that Facebook went down for like what eight or nine hours and
none of us knew like is it ever gonna come back girl let me tell you
I was like this lesson from that point on to feed all of the content into the into the
private uh platform because there was no way I was going to lose all of that that
just would have been a nightmare and so the school is amazing every month there's a you know pretty picture that
kind of gives you an idea of like what it is we're doing and again it's all content driven in nuggets of like up to
10 minutes all descriptions titled Etc
so so yeah so I really um you know if you want to learn about
weaving if you want to be in a community that this is probably the biggest thing right seriously I really feel like we're
so spoiled with Incredible Talent incredible humans
um mostly women I don't think we have any men in our group who
just nurture each other who really support one another
um you can ask a question and there's just numerous people there to help you
so um that to me well that's what makes my heart full so I uh I I super love that
part I love love love that part so yeah um so projects are typically what we do
every month either I'm curating and designing them
there are times where if I am just like holy guacamole
you know I'm kind of thinking about this blah blah blah I might reach out to Trisha I might reach out to Danielle
um I might reach out to my bestie from Junior High School who's a silversmith
singing oh my God she's just like amazing Brandy right I might reach out to her I might
reach out to Joan since Joan's like showing us her uh her talents in fact when I was in the
check Joan Joan took the helm so um here on the on the on the jewel loom school
so you never know but mostly it is myself but um you know if I need to reach out I do I reach out to I reach
out to some other pros and I get some guidance on on what we might offer
9.9 times out of ten that's the jam I will say in July
of 21 2021 everybody got a large wisdom Warrior
yeah it was crazy um I did ask for a three-month commitment and we did do projects but um but it was
a loom and there was another time where what happened what did we do we did the
mini we did a box with the mini and a micro mini loom and some beads so there's been
a handful of times not too many I mean obviously the box that I just did from my trip to Prague to the check
um April May that was all prod product driven but typically it is
project driven so so does anyone have any questions I know
let me see Jeanette Etta asked me you were really excited you and I love this it was so cute she was like she emailed
me and said is something going to be up there I don't see anything I was like I'll answer that later
um but that's yeah so so that's what happens I make the the body imagine like
the um the body of the course with the pretty i title it
um and then I usually put like a coming soon if I don't have the content yet and then I have to collect everybody and put
them into the course right so I'm granting access to everybody I'm checking lists I'm checking checking
checking making sure that everybody is in there and um so that's quite a process and then I start to I start to
create the content over you know a few days or what have you so for June my
intention definitely um is to work on that starting tomorrow morning and then um hopefully being able
to finish up with that early next week as um you know I'm excited I'm excited to
get that done so yeah so I'm not too sure um if there's anything else J Jill Joan
can you think of anything else that I really need to um mention back in the day during covid
I will tell you that we met a lot on Zoom but
so did the rest of the world you know what I mean like people weren't working and now it it is a little bit more
challenging to get everybody on a zoom because everyone is not only back to work but they seem to be back to work
like times a hundred you know like just super working all the time and um and so so we
really haven't been doing the zooms I'm not opposed to it but it is really kind of became very challenging to get
everybody together I I would like to get one scheduled here soon just because I miss your face
[Laughter] and what do we do in the zoom we do a
lot of this but we're all in there and we can see each other and we love on one another and we do show and tell
we do show and tell so everybody like brings out all of their jewel loom things that they've been doing and it's
for the subscribers um and you know people that are who have bought who have bought
the workshop and really we just all get together love on one another how's it going how's the family
um what have you been doing how's how's work a lot of people sell their jewelry so we'll talk about that we'll
brainstorm if anyone's having a problem so it is actually something I really would love to be able to to to do at
least I don't know maybe we just start doing it once a quarter huh that might be a little bit easier like on the
weekend to get people somehow um together and yeah she's shaking her head she's like
whatever you want Jules whatever [Laughter]
just rolling off her seat right now so Rhonda says she loves the kids as it challenges me to go out of my creative
comfort zone yes good [Laughter]
I love that not no Zoom at school oh
okay yeah yeah so I don't know is there anything
else I mean it's just let me tell you I love spoiling my community and anytime
that I can I um you know I give a lot and for the price
I feel like it's very well worth it and so you're getting the components obviously you're not getting a loom you
need to have a loom um you need to have your beading thread you need to have your needles but I do
try really hard to have the majority of what you need to create
with um this project I actually ended up giving you a pinch of Edo's in case you
you need some like I just gave you a pinch so I'm always kind of trying to think and if I can I do
one of the things too that I um that you're not going to find is you're not
going to open up the box and see any type of uh literature okay
all of the content lives on the school platform
printing literature is just another expense that takes away
from ear beads so uh collectively we have all just decided
that we don't need to have that so you're not going to find I know that
there are some companies where you open it up and there's like postcard and they and it's so good I know it's so good
like I'm totally not downplaying it it's so good but their boxes are definitely
more expensive than mine and I just you know I can't justify it
what I will say that I need from you and I would love your input on this and Joan
and I have talked about this there has to be a way though that I can
help you to identify your kids because I do get that like Joan has God
bless you Joan I know that she has personally spent some time with some people where they're like what was this
for what kid did that go in um and so I I'm trying to oh you're here
I just want to say something I figured out something if you keep them in the original box and look at the postage
date that'll tell you what month it's from so like so like here you know under U.S
priority come in a little more without your address U.S priority oh God that
box is right there so it says the month date and year so I know it's May 2023. wow did you step on that box or is that
how that is right that's the way it arrived dang that ain't right yeah my my
post office here is a piece of crap it's not anything you preach you know what
seriously come on I know that ships fast mine I mean I don't trust him at all we
can't even ask them to hold our mail they deliver it every day okay I just wanted to point that out if that helps
everybody if you're keeping a box you know I love that idea and let me just show you the box really quick so here um
for a hot minute we had gone to a cardboard box I mean a hot minute like
was it two months because it was the biggest pain in my tush to make my hands
were excruciating pain from making those stupid boxes and I was like I don't care
how much these cost it's well worth my you know my my hands and so Joan is
saying that on the back of the box is where I put the postage okay and
um and it's times it's stamps apparently
there's some sort of a postage stamp on there it's going to have a date and so
you know and these are nice you can keep these as like little jewelry boxes let me open this one up I'm going to kind of
come down to the table um so so you're gonna open it up I mean look how nice it is right so what you
could do and and I had thought about it too is whether or not there was something
economical that maybe I could stick on the inside right here that would say like you know June 20 of 23.
um and you know so that would be helpful but typically you know so you've got
like your tissue um I did Splurge this month I know I said something about not doing tea and
crackers or cookies but I can't help it um I just took it out of my own pocket
and did it so we have a tea and we have um the
cookie and then we put everything into a sweet little
um so see your box hopefully it doesn't look like Jones any post person didn't beat it up but everything will be in a
cute little bag and then basically all of the products you know that you would
need so like this month um Danielle turned me on to this
four-strand slide connector from John bead so I'm super excited about this guy
look at this this and these guys are not cheap so very nice for June right we're
going to be doing that so for instance I'll do a segment on just how to sew this on all right
because then that way you go back and you learn um here's a little this is a just a
little Jewel nugget sometimes I'll just have something cute laying around this is an absolutely gorgeous bead that I
bought from the check and I decided to give everybody one and then here's a
little bag of some seed beads so um you know like all of this will be in
here and then all of the gorgeous I'm really careful about protecting um
the beads so they'll come in another baggie
and here is the blue chalcedony double hole
uh diamonds a whole entire strand I mean you're going to have you're definitely going to have extras depending on you
know the size bracelet these are just gorgeous too by the way I don't know if you're seeing all of the shine but this
is a the blue chalcedony diamond shaped double hole
found in the treasure box somewhere in in my friends stash
absolutely gorgeous and then um you know I I always try to do like
um just something fun I've got like some different types of color I'm I'm I'm funky like that like what do you call
that it's kind of like shabby chic right like I love a good pair of jeans and then a delicious cashmere well I can't
wear cashmere I'm allergic to that but just like I'll wear like a really nice top
um and jeans and I kind of just I kind of design and put things together that way you know like color you know so
these are all the beads that are in this month's kit I even threw some little three millimeter crystals in there and
so yeah so um oh my goodness so that that's one of the
boxes and any suggestion other than what Joan mentioned about the time stamp what
I mentioned about um uh let's see I'm having a hard time with
my words today I'm so very sorry putting the putting the you know date
right here I'll have to see how much that will cost like if I could get those pre-printed the thing is that those people usually
want like a bazillion um you know quantity wise and
so we'll see even if I just take the time to write you know June 2023.
so that's the that's the creative Soul box and I wanted today to kind of show
you so I'm just going to bring this in to my space and I've been showing this off a
couple of times now this is a perfect example of where I will you know like
when my guy said hey I've got you know these
two whole Diamond gemstones do you think they'll work and I'm like hey send them this is the process right this is what
happens so I'm like okay let's let's see how many you know how how many warps and
how many did I have to skip and what's going to fit in between where because there's going to be there's going to be
dead space and we don't necessarily want to just see the what the Wildfire we want to like see beads so all of that
has to be figured out and I didn't want to waste this cute little piece and I
really do feel I do feel like after you make your bracelet you should have
um a few diamonds left and and so to make like a little pendant I was
thinking that's what I would do with this and so I have my needle and thread all ready
this isn't the projects but it will become like a bonus a bonus idea and why
not right if you have leftover beads so I'm gonna pick up hopefully I can see
I'm gonna pick up uh what was it eight plus four is twelve so I'm gonna pick I'm picking up Ado's
right now so that's four five six
seven eight so let's see if I got that right did I do that right it's right but
two three four oh and maybe it would help if I
actually showed you what the heck I was doing I'm such a goober don't worry I don't do that when I'm doing my uh
when I'm doing my content oh my gosh you know what it is I'm just gonna full
disclosure it's Bunko night [Laughter] it's Bunko night and the host is making
homemade enchiladas and uh and so I I'm like dreaming of
homemade enchiladas and I'm making jewelry and okay so I've got
that row of Edo's and then I'm going to take the needle and the thread and I'm just going back
through them and remember you want your needle and thread to be on top of the warps as you're going back through so
so let me Brando's back there dreaming and then I'm just gonna pull through
now I'm gonna go back through that row but I'm going to go under the warps this
time because I really want to make sure this is nice and secure so I'm going back through the
beads but I'm under the warps and I just want to make sure that's the
case let's see what's that under
let's see okay so this is just going to add some extra
security and then we'll go back through again on the top
what I have found when I'm using the slider um you know the slide connectors that
we've been using for quite a long time is that I really want this row of beads
to really be secure on the warps and because I have extra
um thread I'm going to go back up a couple of rows
and let's see I don't want to mess with the diamond so I'm just going to come back down here
and obviously in the course I'm going to be showing you how to add the diamonds and how you fill in the space and all
that good groovy stuff I'm just pretty much like teasing you right now
so let me see actually yeah I do I want to come back under and then I'm just
going to tie off the middle warp over here so I'll bring this up to the camera hold
on okay so I'm going to come up can you see my needle
I came up out of that fourth bead
and then I'm just gonna knot off that woke me up
okay so we'll get that in there and then I'm just going to come over
with my scissors let's see where's the end
okay Joan don't let me forget to show everybody what we're doing in well a
sneak peek at July just one of the beads and then I'm gonna go ahead and take this off of the Loom
and so you know how I like to this one's not going to bounce like the original jewel blue because the baby Loom is
always in the Warped position and again just as a reminder let me come back up
full disclosure I'm only working on the baby Loom because I needed to this is my
prototype I needed to take those diamond shaped gemstones and
see if indeed they were going to work and because the baby Loom is the same
grid as the original Loom it was just easier for me to pop it onto the baby okay but in the
course we're going to be making a bracelet um well that's my intention anyway you
could be going I'm gonna make a bunch of pendants [Laughter] and I'm gonna be like knock your socks
off do whatever you want when you're making a smaller project you typically do want to use one of the smaller looms
okay let me take this off okay and I'm going to just turn it over
and I'm going to cut whoa that was ready
and we'll get that out of the way and so you know this is um we're just last week I think you
should you noticed I made like I I pulled my warps and I kind of distorted my project a little yeah really got to
be careful when um when you are tying the warps not to do
that and this is I'm gonna let me see if I could see this a little bit better without the blue ah thank you
I could not see that for nothing so I'm just very carefully I'm going to be tying these
this is so stinking cute wow if I get this done I'm going to wear it tonight to Bunco and maybe I'll win
I'm set I love games oh my God I love to play I play Bingo we play Bunko
um I like card games I used to play backgammon a lot too I
like backgammon and um I love cornhole
but I'm always trying to get like some extra feet on cornhole because I'm short and I feel like they put the
darn board so far away I'm like I'm only five feet tall and my arms are little I
need I need extra throwing space so
and I'm just gonna burn this guy off really quick
and let's see let's go to the other side here
oh another disclaimer I should let you know that many times when I am taping the videos Marlon Brando
um is behind me snoring so laughs which he is right now
we've got him on um melatonin to try and calm him down and it is helping his fur
is coming back so but I'll tell you what these Frenchies are too much and he is
definitely my last I mean
there's a lot of work okay so I think
let me see I think I'm going to use the um Beetle on
I've been practicing where's the other I know you're here somewhere where are you
so I've been practicing Meredith does this little trick with the with the um
wildfire burner um she's gotten really good at it where she can kind of like sizzle the knot
down but you have to practice because you do
burn yourself off buddy you have to wait now so now of course he wants to go outside
but he's going to have to wait
okay so where did my here we go
branta and I might have to open this up a
little bit so I just kind of open it a hair and then I'm going to
now you could definitely um put in fact
let me see something here really quick
of course my glue is probably
uh usually I'll use um a blunt
wow this stuff what in the world happened
hmm I'm just going to put some of the aleene's fast drawing tacky glue on here
for giggles usually I'll use like a blunt um needle
but I couldn't find them I'm sure they're staring at me somewhere
and it's better if that little that little piece is pushed up a little
there awesome sauce and then I'm just going to take this and
close it oh my gosh it's so cute okay
and then we're just going to get a little more glue less is more
I don't know this is the fast drying aleene's tacky glue it's a lot thicker do you remember which one was that back
in the day um yeah aleene's thick designer tacky glue that stuff was awesome I think this is
based off of that and I want to match the direction
so it looks like I'm going to need to go that way so let me just open this up a little bit more
and push this back a little bit so these are the beadalon sliders this
one is 26 mil okay and it looks like I went that
okay and once again I'm just gonna grab these guys
oh my heck okay this is so cute okay I have some really cool chain too I think
I'm going to change out the chain and then I'll wear it
so oh my God so stinking Fab right like change out the chain and like
put some cool check chain right there okay very cute
do you see that so my hope is that you have at least the
diamond gemstones left over from your bracelet there's quite a few other beads so I'm
going to be pretty surprised if you don't have enough to do that but I'm but you have something in your stash
so I um yeah I'm not sure yet like how I'm gonna do
the connection part like what I mean because you could just get like a piece of sorry ribbon you could get
baby daddy's silver silk chain I got a lot of it it's sitting right
behind me I guess I could do that huh I think that's what I'm gonna do that way I'll have my baby daddy right
around my neck and if you don't know who that is Neely
he's my friend he's just a really good friend and we share the silver silk loom
together so I'm so excited excited about this
so much better than I even oh my God I'm super stoked super stoked okay
so um definitely will I think we can probably clip this
and take this nugget and put it into the course
um or we'll just time stamp it until people get over all the talking and and
this is where the demo started but the bits and pieces the guts of you know adding all the beads and everything
that's going to be in your course so again there were what did I say 13 kits left when we went live
um my phone's been going off since we came came on here so I'm not sure uh-oh
not sure what exactly might be left in this moment so I would add a tassel
that would make it even yeah sexy I love that
hi Trisha oh thank you that's um gonna be like a
little bonus item for the June course and your box is on its way to you
Trish is going to let me know when um but I am over the flipping Moon
excited she's going to teach us how to
bead around the capitans that came in
the check box so I'm gonna learn right alongside of all of you
and she's going to teach us how to do that and I sent her a really pretty uh
Pink lavender color combination but by all means you can use whatever colors
you want but we're going to learn how to do that and I'm clueless [Laughter]
so I have a feeling like if I pick it up I have this weird feeling like it's
going to become possibly an obsession correct me if I'm wrong but do you think
Trisha that it's something that like are we going to be able to are we going to learn are we going to get it
anyway we'll we'll definitely let you know when she's going to be doing when she's going to be doing that oh I want
to show you um so in July if you're wondering what we're gonna do
this is pretty cool the only other time I've ever done this was just a couple
months ago um in the Czech Republic for a very limited amount of people my
students outside of that I don't I don't recall
I don't think so that I've ever done this uh I'm going to be teaching my meditation prayer pouch
yeah yeah so I'm super excited about that
uh it is going to be a piece that once you're finished with it it's gonna just be your delicious
thing that you hold you know if you're into meditation awesome prayer fantastic
but we're going to be working with um a bunch of different beads there's going to be there's going to be Oodles
of beads we're going to I'm contemplating
I might don't hold me to it but I'm thinking
that I'm gonna get into my fabric stash from Singapore
it's possibility I'm just thinking it's up there staring at me
up there for a really long time and I'm like what are you gonna do with that Jules
I wanted to share that with your peeps so you need a little piece of fabric for
the inside of your pouch and we're going to be working with the Aqua Terra
Jasper and um you're probably going to get about
four I think it's going to be about four inches or so but look at these bad boys I mean
come on come on is that seriously I just can't so this
was another opportunity I got a hold a bunch of the a bunch of this stuff um so you're going to have probably I'm
thinking it's going to be about four and I mean these guys are huge look at these nuggets they're huge Aqua Terra Jasper it's
delish it's so delicious it almost looks like a turquoise it's really really beautiful
and so um oh good crafty stuff
yeah so I'm gonna put that in the kit I'm I'm almost sure I'm gonna share my
Singapore fabric with you I went to Singapore in 2000 and
where did I go how I came back here to California in 2014 when did I go to Singapore 2010
do you see that box okay do you see that box right there
Singapore Fabric in that box just sitting there for how many years now stupid like next year we'll make 10.
come on Jules share the love so I'm gonna share it with you yeah it's
gorgeous it's um it's like from it I got it in Singapore but it's the
fabric that um the beautiful women from India make their make their outfits from it
ain't cheap it ain't cheap in fact I might have it professionally cut
but that's gonna it's gonna be gorgeous and by all means you could use your own fabric but I think you're going to like
this Fabric and it's just a smidge it's not like you're getting a yard it's going to be like a smidge of fabric but
um yeah so Jasper fabric from Singapore Singapore is like the most fabulous trip
ever if you ever get to go go um but you have to come to the Czech Republic with me first because
and yeah so that's that's July I don't know should we tease them um why do I keep wanting to call you
Jill is Jill Weissman thinking about me right now it has to be Jill Wiseman
what should I I'm gonna should I tease them with those other beads okay Jones says
yeah Jill Jones says yeah hold on hold on
oh my God they're so heavy
so hold on there's more so this is these beach oh Marla Brando
these beads are Beyond vintage I mean they're probably what did I say like 20
you want to come on Joe they're like 20 years old and we can't dance well if I'm up
let's see here let's see okay so these are like big old chunkin 20 by 20s two
whole squares they're insane all right
um some of them have this blue gorgeous glass their backs have this gold and look at
this these are so gorgeous they'd be fun to play with yeah and and so they're
vintage so some of their bottoms are you know a little funky but I was like I want those and look at
the colors look at they're so wait where are they at look at this
are those two whole beads or just one hole at the top no they're two holes they're two holes
I don't know what month this is because I still want to Source something to very possibly go in the middle of
them and um and and you'll definitely get a couple strands because I have quite a bit which
you'll have to keep in mind is that they're vintage they are not perfect they are mostly perfect
but um they're awesome how could I say no
I mean I mean they're not crap they're not crap but you know
they're they're vintage so that's going to be one of the months we have a lot of exciting stuff coming
up and and I actually think that I'm going to keep the rest of the stuff that I bought
