This is an awesome technique to use to decorate your loom bracelet....or better yet, make your bracelet convertible to a choker, so you can wear it two different ways. This design will bring attention to either your wrist or neckline. In this tutorial, Julianna C Avelar will show you how to weave the fringe onto your loom design to enhance the beauty further. Welcome in to Jewel Loom School Live. I'm Juliana Avalar, the inventor of the
    0:09
Jewel Loom, which is a portable bead weaving loom that can be found pretty
    0:14
much all over the world. Pretty much find it um at your local independent
    0:21
bead shop. You can find it at your Hobby Lobby shop, Michaels, Amazon, all over
    0:26
the place. and of course the shop juweloom.com. And so today I'm going to be working
    0:33
with the pretty and pink um kit. So we've had a lot of kits this
    0:39
month. We've had the original September uh jewel box kit. We had a second
    0:44
colorway for that. And we also have the pretty in pink, which I'm super excited
    0:50
about. Now, a lot of people have asked me, um, can you make these bracelets
    0:56
going two rows across, let me get in the middle here, instead of three. And the
    1:03
answer is yes. And you can see that I've already done that with this bracelet. And so, what I'm going to do is I'm
    1:11
going to work on adding the beaded fringe. And I'm using the Hawaiian beads that
    1:19
come in the kit along with a couple other things. There's some glass in there,
    1:25
some seed beads. Um I put some other really cool dangly dupies, [laughter]
    1:32
dangle duper droppers, um that I super love. And so yeah, it's going to be it's
    1:38
going to be fun. And without further ado, I did go ahead and I've got plenty of wildfire. I'm using the lilac.
    1:47
And so I I did the warps with the magic
    1:55
um it's called magic. Yeah, it's the magic hemp cord. Magic variegated hemp cord.
    2:03
And I did the weaving of the two holes with some pink.
    2:10
And now I'm gonna be using the lilac because they all look good together. So it's kind of like a multicolored
    2:16
project. Welcome in Cynthia. So great to see you. Um, okay. So let's see. We're
    2:22
going to go ahead and go down to the table so we can get started. And if Joan wants to take me down there,
    2:29
that would be wonderful. Also, hopefully everyone is seeing the um Yes. And Joan
    2:37
is reminding me [laughter] that I'm the camera switcher.
    2:44
She's like, "It that's on you, girl. That's all on you." There we go. [laughter]
    2:51
It's not Monday. It's Thursday. Where's my brain? Okay. So, um, what I'm going
    2:57
to do first is break my bracelet into or divide my bracelet into three parts. And
    3:05
so I have 25 rows and so divided by three
    3:10
that'd be closer to 24. And so what would that be? Like sections of eight. Correct. And I did a pretty darn good
    3:18
job of actually centering my bracelet in between the two holes. And so I can kind
    3:25
of see that. Let's see. I can kind of
    3:30
see that this is the middle. And so what I'm going to do cuz I just want Okay,
    3:37
let me let me be a little more clear. You see this bracelet? This bracelet has like beaded fringe from the get-go,
    3:44
right? It's got it from one end to the other. And I think that's fine and fabulous. What I'm going to do is just
    3:51
like a little bit of a decoration in the middle. So you could do you could do what I'm going
    3:59
to do or you can certainly do all the beaded fringe. um
    4:05
along the top and the bottom. All right. So, what we're going to do is I'm going to count. So, I've got one, two, three,
    4:12
    four, five, 6, 7, 8.
    4:18
So, this is going to be my middle section here. And I want my first fringe
    4:23
to come out over here. So, let me see if I come in this way. And then, no,
    4:28
because I want to be doing this. So, I want to go dup dup dup. Okay. So, I'm going to come in here. [laughter]
    4:36
I'm going to come through this first hole. Okay. And then I'm going to pull
    4:44
and I'm going to leave a tail. Now, I did actually try to add the
    4:51
fringe as I was putting in the two-hole beads. And what happened is that one of the warps, one of the one of the weft
    5:01
threads was over the warp and then one of them was under and it made the fringe
    5:09
like lopsided. And so I didn't really care for that look. So I was like, you know what? I'm just going to go back and
    5:15
do it afterwards. And so I do need to place this so that I can actually see
    5:21
    it. Okay.
    5:28
And so at this point, all right. So at this point, what I want to do is two
    5:34
things. I'm going to bring in a little bit more light. And I'm just wondering if this is
    5:40
feeding over on Facebook. Okay. So, I'm going to go ahead and I'm
    5:48
going to bring in some of my seed beads. So, these are also in the kit. And I'm
    5:55
going to bring in some glass. All right, that's some glass. And then I'm going to bring in a couple of my
    6:01
flowers. I can bring in a little bit more.
    6:10
Okay. So, what I want to do is I want to pick up um I'm going to pick up a seed
    6:16
bead and then a piece of glass and then another seedbead. And then I'm going to
    6:22
um pick up one of the flowers. These are Hawaiian
    6:28
flowers. You're getting an entire strand in your kit. Oh, look at this kit. Just
    6:34
this one little leg right now tells me that this pro this bracelet is going to be so stinking cute. Okay. Did I pick up
    6:41
another seed? Nope, I didn't. Okay. So, I need to pick up another seed.
    6:48
Oh, good. Okay, good to know. And we're going to scooch the seedbead,
    6:55
the piece of glass, and the Hawaiian flower up. We're going to bypass
    7:02
that seedbead, and we're going to go back through those beads.
    7:08
So, we've got to go back through the seedbead glass, the seedbead, and then we're
    7:13
going to go back through. And I'm going to have to turn here because I need a little bit more control.
    7:20
    And I'm going back through.
    7:27
And then we're just going to guide that. So, this is going to be our first little leg.
    7:32
Oh my gosh. Okay. Oh, look at how cute. Let me bring that up to the camera. So
    7:37
cute. Thanks, Pam. Isn't it so cute? Okay. And so, next what we want to do
    7:45
is we're going to Ooh, this is going to be interesting.
    7:51
Okay. So, if I I'm going to come through here
    7:57
and I'm going to want my next leg to be a little bit longer so that it doesn't
    8:02
get all bunched up. Okay, so this time
    8:10
I It's so freaking adorable. You could add these to your hatbands, I
    8:16
think. And by the way, your last projects, I'm sorry I didn't comment. Um, but I was going to, and I still
    8:23
will, but I've got you in p in kind of in person. Um, awesome, amazing,
    8:28
incredible. Love, love, love. Okay. So, I don't want
    8:36
I don't want the two Hawaiian beads to be,
    8:42
you know, even because then it's just going to get bunched up. So, I need to do something more here. I need to
    8:50
    I need to But I'm also going to need 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 eight. And there's eight or 10
    8:57
Hawaiian beads. Um, thinking thinking thinking
    9:04
and I've also got these guys
    9:09
that I might try to incorporate. So, am I doing eight or am I doing seven?
    9:18
All right, Jules, make a decision. Okay, I'm going to pick up Let's pick up
    9:24
three. That's be a total of four seed beads. Okay, let's see what we have here.
    9:31
Okay, so I've got one seed bead, a glass, three, no, four seed beads. Okay, and
    9:38
now I'll pick up a Hawaiian and another seed bead. Okay, that should
    9:46
work. So, what I'm trying to do is not have all the Hawaiian beads like you see
    9:52
like I want them to have a little bit of room. That looks good.
    9:58
Okay. So, that gives you a little bit of space. And then I think next time I'm going to do the reverse. Okay. I'm
    10:04
talking out loud. All right. Let's do this. So, we're going to pull that seed bead towards me. [snorts] And then we're
    10:09
going to go through the Hawaiian bead and through.
    10:15
And then I'm just going to let everything fall. It's a little bit easier for me to get back through the
    10:20
two-hole bead. And then all the way out.
    10:30
Okay. And then we're just going to grab pinch that last seedbead. Make sure that
    10:38
everything is nice and tight. Oh, where's that loop coming from?
    10:44
There it is. Okay. I still needed to pull a little bit more. So, hold on. There we go. There we go. Oh, that would
    10:49
have been terrible. [laughter] Okay. So, there's our first two little legs.
    10:55
I like it. I like it. But this time, I think I'm going to put more seed beads in the beginning
    11:01
and then the glass. Just trying to switch it up a little. But then is that going to look I don't
    11:08
know how I feel about that. Hold on. Hold on. Let's see. Do I want to stay with the repetition?
    11:14
Because I also kind of feel like that's going to look a little weird.
    11:20
I'm going to stay with I want to stay with my game plan of
    11:27
Now, how did I end up coming? Did I just go down the wrong
    11:35
Well, I wonder if that's not that may not be a bad idea. So, somehow I got one
    11:40
row further down than I wanted to be. But
    11:46
the truth of the matter is maybe that's a good thing so that things don't start to get too bunched up. Okay, let's learn
    11:52
together. learning moment. Let me get back in the screen. I'm gonna pick up a seedbead
    12:00
and a glass bead. And then this time we're going to do, let's see, one,
    12:08
two, three. We'll mix it up a little. Four.
    12:14
And then why don't we grab a gemstone? Let's just kind of get this party
    12:19
started. Five. That's going to actually add
    12:24
That's going to actually add some more length. Is that going to be too much? Let's see.
    12:33
[clears throat] No, actually, that's going to be
    12:38
perfect, isn't it? Okay, this is fun. Um, finding the hole here. And then one
    12:43
    more seed bead.
    12:50
And then we're going to turn it this way so that I can see what I'm doing. Bring
    12:55
the seedbead towards me and go back through the seedbead, back
    13:01
through the gemstone, back through all the seed beads. Make sure you're getting back through all those seed beads cuz
    13:06
it's not going to be fun if you don't. And then back through the glass, the seedbead.
    13:13
And then we're going to go back through that hole that we just came out of. Okay, that's
    13:19
good. That's good that I made that little. So, I didn't do it on purpose, but what ended up happening was I
    13:25
skipped a row here and it worked out perfectly. So, as you're making yours,
    13:30
you'll need to pay attention if you need to do that as well so that you have the room [snorts] in here.
    13:40
Okay, so there's our first three little legs. So stinking cute. Let me just make sure
    13:47
I've got all the thread nice and taut. Okay. And then we can
    13:53
    come back through.
    14:00
Whoops. All righty. And so now this time this
    14:07
guy can be even a little bit longer cuz we're going to do
    14:15
we'll do seven. So, we're going to have one, two, and then we're going to have one,
    14:22
    two, three, four,
    14:29
    and h
    14:36
    I don't know. I think that I think
    14:42
I think we could do that. But you know what? That won't. This will be too much.
    14:50
Let me try something really quick for giggles. One. Let me do Let me do one,
    14:58
two, three, and then let me see how this might look.
    15:05
    I'm not 100% sure. One,
    15:10
    two, three. Okay.
    15:17
So, okay. Okay, that should work.
    15:22
[laughter] I don't really have a plan. I had an idea.
    15:29
Um, okay, I like that. Okay, so that's kind of fun. So, what I did was I took one of the big glass beads. These, this
    15:36
is a big check bead that I ended up adding to the kit. And that's really cool. So now we kind of have like a
    15:43
different look going on. And I picked up three seed beads, the drop. And so the
    15:49
hole is going from side to side. And then three more. And now we'll go back
    15:54
    through the two holes
    16:03
    and pull through.
    16:08
Whoopsie. And then we're going to go ahead and go
    16:14
back to Let me get that back in the view for you. I'm always pushing this away from me. [laughter]
    16:21
Okay. And then we're going to pick up a single seed bead, a glass bead,
    16:28
and let's see. We're going to work in the reverse. So, is that is that four
    16:33
still? I think that's four. So, one, two, three,
    16:41
four. And then we're going to pick up another gemstone.
    16:48
And then, was there a seedbead in between that? There sure was. So, one, and then the
    16:56
Hawaiian bead. And then another gemstone. I mean, another seed bead. Okay.
    17:11
Oh, wait a minute. Where's that bead? Hold on. Got to make sure that I have this. And I do. Okay, so this came up.
    17:18
Okay, here we go. So, we're going to go through and through
    17:25
and through. Okay. And we're going to turn this
    17:31
    sideways.
    17:38
And we're going to pull it all the way up.
    17:43
Make sure everything is nice and tight.
    17:49
Okay. And then I'm going to go back through the hole. And which hole am I at? I'm right here.
    17:56
    Okay. Whoops.
    18:03
I'm I'm a messy little beater today. [laughter]
    18:08
Oh, this going to look so pretty when it's dangling. Oh, I want to do this as a necklace. Can
    18:14
you imagine how like a choker? I need to do that. That would be so good. All right. And then we're going to
    18:20
come back down. Coming back down. Whoopsie.
    18:27
Okay. And then, oh, okay. So, this is a good example of
    18:34
when your needle won't come out with the force of your hand. I want you to come in with your flats as close to the bead
    18:40
and very carefully pull. I don't know what it is, but it works and it doesn't
    18:45
break your needle. So, um, glad that happened. All right. So, now we're going
    18:52
to work. So, now we're gonna go one
    18:57
one seed, one glass. Um, and that was four seeds. So, let's
    19:06
    see. One, one,
    19:12
two, three, four. And then we're going to pick up
    19:17
another um uh Hawaiian bead. Hawaiian flower bead.
    19:25
Another seed bead. [snorts] Okay. And let me once again pull myself.
    19:34
Okay. So, push that seedbead towards you. And then we're going to go back
    19:39
through the hoyen bead, through the seeds, through the glass, and through that seedbead.
    19:48
And then we're going to go back through this hole again on the top. Whoops.
    19:57
And you're just guiding. Make sure you're you're guiding all of the thread because there is a
    20:03
    lot. And okay.
    20:12
And then we're going to come back down.
    20:23
Oh my gosh, this is just so stinking precious. Okay, and then we're going to go back to where we had um one
    20:32
seed, a glass, one more seed,
    20:38
    a Hawaiian bead.
    20:44
Hawaiian bead and then one more seed.
    20:49
Um Pam, are you still there?
    20:54
Um on my whatn not tonight I'm going to have 3 mm
    21:00
at $2 starts. And I I don't know if you're done with your purchase. you had said that you
    21:06
couldn't do anything, but I just didn't want to do that and you not know.
    21:11
Okay, so I'm going back through
    21:17
    that hole and whoopsie.
    21:32
Okay. So, now what I need to do is I got to take a look. I'm
    21:39
Okay, I'm off center and that's going to drive me nuts. So,
    21:45
what I have to do is take a look at this and figure out what I can do.
    21:50
I either make peace with it. [laughter]
    21:56
Okay, let me get this up to the camera. That's so stinking cute. Am I going to
    22:02
worry about it being off center? [snorts] H cuz I Boy, I could have used three
    22:10
more rows going in this direction. I'm not sure how to balance it. I'm not sure
    22:16
how to balance it because because because because
    22:22
that looks really good, but I'm definitely It's not centered.
    22:29
Could I do another dangly dupe?
    22:36
And then three more. That would be one,
    22:41
two. Well, we kind of need it to go all the way over here, don't we?
    22:50
H Peanut Gallery. Jules. Jules. Jules.
    22:56
Joan's thinking. I can see her cuz she's got her head in her hands [laughter]
    23:02
and she's like, "Girl, I'm not sure cuz I I mean it's definitely offc center
    23:08
now. Is anyone going to know?" No. No, they're not. I'm going to know.
    23:16
Um I'm just trying to cuz what should be
    23:22
next then if I'm going to do another one would be the second one of these guys.
    23:27
Let me try. Let me just try. I like to solve things as we are in real time. So,
    23:33
let's just try. Okay. So, this leg needs to be taught up here.
    23:39
And then we're going to come here. Okay. This actually might work. Hold your horses. Okay. So, I'm coming down.
    23:48
I'm coming down. Whoops. I'm grabbing everything along the way. Get some stuff out of the way here. [snorts]
    23:56
Get some more seed beads. Whoops.
    24:03
Okay. So, um, no, I'm coming this way.
    24:11
And what I want to do is I'm going to pick up three seeds.
    24:19
So, one, two, three. Okay. And then
    24:39
let's see. [snorts] And then if I go back through
    24:44
here. Okay, this actually might work out. Okay, so we're going to pull through.
    24:51
And then we've got one more drop. These glass drops are just so beautiful. Okay,
    24:58
so that that took up that space. Let's look at it again. How much closer am I
    25:03
    getting to being centered? Like two more. Right. Hold on. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
    25:15
    1 2 3 4 five six seven eight.
    25:20
Okay, I think I got it. Okay, so then what we're going to do
    25:26
is we'll come down through here. This is going to work out even better.
    25:32
It's going to make it even more wy. Okay, so we're doing that. And the
    25:38
question then is which direction? Which direction am I going in? Am I working
    25:44
back towards short? It'd be another short one, right? because you want to end up long.
    25:52
Okay, hold on. We got to think about this. [laughter] We got to think about this. We've got
    25:59
short. We went this way. Then we went this way. And then naturally, we would
    26:05
go down, right? We would go back down. So, if we're going back down,
    26:11
uh, if we're going back down,
    26:17
then would we be another short one
    26:23
or would we be a long one and we'd be going back up to end like
    26:29
that? Let's do that. Let's see for giggles what happens. Okay, this is one of those giggle projects. Okay. So,
    26:36
we're going to pick up um one,
    26:42
two, No, we're going to pick up only one. We're only picking up one. A piece of glass.
    26:48
And Oh, we're going to be short a piece of glass. Crap. Six. Cuz there's only eight
    26:55
glasses. How many did I Okay. One, two, three,
    27:02
    four, five, six, seven, eight.
    27:07
the Oh, I know what the thing is. You know what the thing is? The thing is that this is 25 rows long. I based my
    27:14
count on 24 in order to make math easy in order to do eight three sections of
    27:20
eight. And so we're just I'm only going to be
    27:25
able to do two more legs. Okay, let's not make this like some major.
    27:32
[laughter] But I do think we need to go long. So we're What was that? That was four,
    27:38
right? We picked up four. One, two,
    27:43
three, four. And then we're going to pick up a Hawaiian.
    27:52
And then we're going to pick up one more seed.
    27:59
So, if you happen to have a piece of glass, then I guess you could use your
    28:05
own. The kit comes with eight. All right. So, I'm going to go back
    28:10
    through.
    28:16
Wasn't there one on here? Yeah. Okay. And back through. It's getting awfully tight in here.
    28:22
And Okay. Let's just do it this way.
    28:34
And I might just do that. I might just
    28:40
use one of my own. Okay. So, we went gradually.
    28:49
    Okay. [snorts]
    28:55
I mean, not for nothing, it's going to look so flipping cute on. Okay, so let's keep on going cuz I want to get this
    29:02
done. I'm so excited about it. [laughter] All right. Um, so then we would
    29:11
    we would be
    29:21
okay. We would be picking up Whoopsie. We would be picking up a seed, a glass,
    29:29
and then four more seeds. Was it four or five over there?
    29:40
Whoops. So, four, cuz it was four there. That
    29:45
makes it the same. So, we want to go a little bit longer, right? So, five. And then, oh wait a minute. We should
    29:52
probably add, let's add a gemstone. And then a seedbead.
    29:59
And then one of these guys. And you know, this might just be enough. I need
    30:05
    to not overthink it.
    30:10
[snorts] So, we're going to bring this forward and
    30:17
    back through all the beads.
    30:24
    Okay. Whoops.
    30:30
[clears throat] Okay. Bring that up close. And then we got to go back through.
    30:37
Want to make sure I'm going back through the right hole of the two-hole bead.
    30:53
Okay. And so this is the dilemma where
    30:59
I really feel there should be a shorter one over here.
    31:04
I'm going to get into my personal stash. Hold on. Una momento. Poor fabul.
    31:11
    [laughter]
    31:23
Okay. And so then what we're going to do here on our last leg is to pick up one
    31:32
    one and one.
    31:39
And then yeah, then I guess basically it would be one and then a flower
    31:50
and then one more. Okay, it's fine.
    31:55
Oh, wait. Did I go through the hole? No. [laughter] Oops.
    32:02
I was so worried about about the the other glass piece. So, let's let's pull
    32:08
these off. It's all good, though. We'll just very carefully get them off of the needle.
    32:14
Perfect. Thank you for working. Yep. Thank you. But then what we need to do
    32:21
is jewels, jewels, jewels. We need to come back through this guy.
    32:30
Okay. So, it all worked out. And again, it's not the end of the world. It all worked. It's as perfect as it perfectly
    32:36
needs to be. Okay. So, we're going to pick up one seed. And we're going to pick up a glass,
    32:44
a seed, and the Hawaiian flyer flower. And then
    32:51
another seed. Okay. And then we're going to push that
    32:57
forward. And we're going to go through the Hawaiian flower, through the seedbead, the glass, and
    33:06
then all the way back up.
    33:16
Okay. Awesome sauce. So, just make sure that everything got nice and tight. And
    33:21
then I'm going to go back. I'm going to weave um back up a little bit just to tie off
    33:27
the extra thread. That looks so much better. Like I'm I'm I'm happy because
    33:34
    Yeah, that's fantastic. That's fantastic.
    33:39
Just fant Oh my gosh, I'm so Okay, I'm so happy. [laughter]
    33:45
All right. So, let me Yeah, let me just get get out of the way of all of this
    33:51
and then I'll tie and then we'll take it off of the loom.
    33:57
And now I feel like I need an outfit.
    34:02
I guess this would be really just, you know, this I could just do this with my black
    34:08
with my I have a black dress that I wear when I go out. I haven't worn it in a little minute. So, [snorts] I think the
    34:16
black dress is going to have to make an appearance this weekend. And we're going to do some pink accessories.
    34:23
We are just going to um Mama's going to hone in on her female feminine energy.
    34:30
[laughter] What do we have to say about that, Joan?
    34:35
[laughter] She's like, "Let me go tease my hair.
    34:43
All right. So, what I want to do is
    34:48
I [snorts] work better from the right. So, owie. Um, let me because I just want
    34:54
to tie off this thread. So, I'm going to come through I'm going to come through that hole. Okay. Left side. I'm sorry,
    35:02
right side. Going through that hole and then out and in between those two beads.
    35:09
Whoops. Okay. Then I'm just going to grab the
    35:15
    warp and pull through again.
    35:22
And then I'm taking the needle to go back through that loop so I can make a knot right in the middle. And then we take my
    35:29
needle and push it down so that the knot follows me to the back side of the project.
    35:38
Okay. Fantastic. And then what I'll do is I'm just going to cut this and I'm going to go back
    35:43
with the um burner and I'll um burn those a little bit closer. So, let me
    35:51
let me clean up here and get my seed beads out of the way.
    36:02
Okay. And then I think we could get rid of the mat. [snorts]
    36:07
All right. So, when I cut my pieces off of the loom, I like to hold them. Okay.
    36:12
So, I'm gonna This is just so stinking gorgeous. Hi, Danielle. Yeah, I got a
    36:18
question for you. So, um so I'm going to hold this beautifulness in my hand,
    36:23
right? I like lay lay this in my hand and then very carefully I sandwich it.
    36:30
And then you could see my my hand kind of like shifting, right? And then I I've got my thumb
    36:37
on the jewel loom. And what I'm doing is I want to cut this piece off, but when I
    36:43
do that, it's going to flex. And so I don't want the glass beads to like slam
    36:48
the table. So that's ultimately what I'm doing here. Okay. So I'm going to bring
    36:55
the scissors in. Whoa. See? [laughter]
    37:00
You know, that's why I do that to protect the glass. And then I'm just going to cut
    37:07
and cut. And then we'll put the jewel limb over to the side,
    37:12
you guys. You guys. Oh my gosh. I'm so Look at Oh,
    37:18
it's going to be so fabulous. So stinking fabulous. I love it. Okay.
    37:25
So, again, I'm going to be going in and I'll trim up all my little threads with
    37:30
um with the burner, the wildfire burner. So, I'm going to come over here. Now, I
    37:35
    have odd amounts of
    37:41
of uh warps. So, it does look like a flower garden. It's
    37:47
a very happy piece. So, I just want to
    37:53
get at least one knot over here.
    38:08
Okay. Boom. And boom. And then what I'll do with the single guy
    38:15
is I'll just give him like a little loopy knot here. So he'll still be fine
    38:21
    cuz singles are fine. [laughter]
    38:26
Single warps are fine. Okay. I haven't decided yet. I think this is going to be my my button side because Yeah, because
    38:35
I need more tail, more length for my loop. So, let's just go ahead
    38:42
and um get these guys. This magic hemp cord is
    38:50
like sassy. It's very frayy. I did take some white glue on my other projects and
    38:56
I just put them on the end cuz I think what it is I think it's the metallic in this. It's just very sassy.
    39:05
It's so stinking beautiful. Okay. So, we're just going to just going
    39:11
to do that. And then I'll come in here and give it a
    39:18
nice little knot. I am going to end up putting some white
    39:23
glue in here because again, for whatever reason, the variegated magic from him
    39:29
cord is um sassy. Delicious but sassy.
    39:37
Okay. And this does come in the kit. Okay. So, just FYI.
    39:42
All right. So, we'll clean that up in time. And then,
    39:49
okay. And then this is going to be the loop end. So, again, we're just going to take and tie
    39:59
    these ends.
    40:06
How many spaces did you leave in between the beads? You mean the fringe? The fringe,
    40:13
Cynthia? If you're talking about the fringe, I literally have a fringe leg on everyone
    40:20
except for that little I don't even know how that happened. I skipped one way in this area. And I don't really I don't
    40:27
even know how I did that. It's kind of weird. But for the most part, I did one on every hole. So, um, but you could
    40:35
skip them. I mean, you know, I could have skipped, but I kind of like the chunkiness.
    40:41
I think it's going to look really fun on on my wrist. So, okay. And then, let me
    40:47
again, I'm going to come back and I'm going to use the burner to um burn all the wildfire. Right now, I just want to
    40:54
get these done so I can put it on
    41:02
Okay. And then I pretty much just kind of know because I've done it 5,000
    41:08
times. This does make it a little more challenging with the sassy ends.
    41:15
Might even want to wet them a little, but I won't won't do
    41:22
that on camera. [laughter] Okay. So, I'm not going to tighten that just yet because I got to make sure
    41:29
[snorts] that um I got to make sure that
    41:36
that loop is going to be big enough. And it looks like it's going to be Yep.
    41:42
Okay. In fact, it could almost be a little bit tighter,
    41:48
right? Isn't it just precious? I was just saying I think I'm going to wear it with all my um with my black
    41:56
    my black dress this weekend.
    42:06
I'm just trying to get that this loop a little bit more tight.
    42:13
Okay. And I I always go back and kind of massage everything and then Okay. So,
    42:21
I'm going to come in here. Where where does this guy belong?
    42:28
Okay. I don't really want to I want to burn that one off. So, let me just put this on.
    42:35
Oh my gosh. Freaking love it. Okay. OMG. Whoops. Do
    42:42
I need to have that tighter? What's going on here? S
    42:49
what h what girlfriend? [laughter] There we go. I I think I know what's
    42:56
going on. I think that Oh my heck. You know what it is? It's so stinking heavy.
    43:02
It just keeps moving. Not like uncomfortable heavy, but it's chunky.
    43:08
It's very chunky. Okay. There we go. There we go.
    43:13
    Okay. Oh.
    43:19
Oh. Oh. Oh. I mean, come on now. Look at all those Hawaiian flowers.
    43:25
Look at all the Hawaiian flowers. Now, if you wanted to, you could take
    43:33
some seed beads and do like a pico stitch on the top right here. And I
    43:39
think that would be a nice finishing look. I don't think it's necessary, but
    43:45
it could look cool. You could use seed beads or maybe even some crystals, like say four mm crystals or even 3 mm, like
    43:54
hot pink crystals. That would look really cool. Or you just do the bottom.
    44:01
I love it so much. Very cool. Okay. I'm really glad that I
    44:08
went back to and and that I added some more rows because see how it just kind
    44:13
of takes the width of my wrist so it just looks really great.
    44:20
Okay, I'm in love. I do need to um I do need to make this closure a little bit
    44:27
uh tighter and I will do that off camera. Hey, you
    44:34
know what? Yesterday we learned how to do the paper beads. Did any of you catch that live with Ann Butler and I? Um,
    44:42
it's so easy. And I'm thinking like if I found the right paper. In
    44:48
fact, I just wonder Hold on. I'm not making a paper bead right now, but I just want to show you. I'm just
    44:55
wondering would that This is the cork. Oh, that's not the right tone though.
    45:01
That's not the right tone. Okay. But yum. Um, I could also do it out of
    45:08
    fabric. Also make a bead.
    45:15
Check this out. That would be kind of funky, huh?
    45:20
But actually, I just feel like it needs to be maybe pink. I think this is maybe
    45:27
I don't know. I don't know if it clashes. This is vintage fabric. Anywh
    45:32
who anywh who there's so many things. Okay, I'm coming back up. [laughter]
    45:39
I'm coming back up and I am the cameraman over here in
    45:44
California while Joan holds it down in Tennessee. Okay. Wow. [laughter]
    45:52
How fabulous did that turn out, you guys? It's so stinking cute. And I am
    45:57
not even kidding. Like I mean really that would be the cutest
    46:03
flipping choker, right? And what you could do
    46:09
[snorts] what you could do is you could you could
    46:15
tie like suede or leather or sorry ribbon to the ends
    46:23
of the bracelet. Right? So, you would do everything except for adding the button
    46:28
and you would tie ribbon or what have you and then that could be your choker.
    46:35
I might have to do that. I love that idea. [laughter]
    46:42
Creativity. Okay, I'm bringing you close to me. Not too too close, but close enough. All
    46:48
right. Were there any unanswered questions talking about the base? Oh.
    46:55
Um, I don't know what you mean by skipping then, Cynthia. What did you
    47:00
mean by that? She says, "How many spaces did you leave in between the beads?"
    47:06
How many spaces did you leave in between the beads?
    47:13
And she says she's talking about the base.
    47:22
Joan, do you know what she's talking about?
    47:27
Oh, go down. How many grooves? Oh, to accommodate the the two hole. Um,
    47:36
you're going to skip three. So, you're going to skip three.
    47:44
You're going to skip three. This is what you're talking about, Cynthia. How many grooves?
    47:51
Yeah. So about three. Sometimes two hole beads can be smaller than the next. Like
    48:00
I think it's the which one's one of them is like just seems to be a little bit more tinier.
    48:07
But I still think I still think it's three that would be most common. Let me
    48:13
see. Are there new comments? Yeah, just grooves. Thanks. Okay. Okay. That helps,
    48:18
Cynthia. Awesome sauce. Teasless are smaller than Yeah, that's
    48:26
what it is. Yeah, it's kind of funny like that they're that they're like that. Um Yeah. So, I don't know if I
    48:34
mentioned earlier, but somebody had emailed me about using Danielle's closure technique um and wanted to know
    48:42
if it could be done if you just did two squares across. And
    48:48
answer is yes. [laughter] You can do this cool fan closure with
    48:55
only two squares going across. And if you do buy the pretty and pink
    49:02
kit, I'm going to gift you those instructions. You just have to buy the kit and then I will email them to you
    49:09
digitally. Okay. So, there's that. So, [snorts] yeah. Awesome sauce. Oh my
    49:15
gosh. I love it when we make something complete. I will make sure that the instructions on how to make your base
    49:22
are um in a video that's at the end of this video so that if you don't know how
    49:28
you can go back. I really wanted to focus on the fringe today.
    49:33
We could also be like this. We could also do these things. Oh, you know what? That would look good
    49:40
on a hatband, wouldn't it? Or like a ball cap.
    49:47
Well, I did a hatband in um No, well, it's not wouldn't be called a hatband.
    49:52
It would be called a headband like from the 70s. I did do one of those in my book.
    49:59
So, that was cool. And Cynthia says, "I already ordered." Okay, honey. I'll make sure you I'll make sure you have those
    50:07
those directions. The center part would be cute wired to or glued to a barret.
    50:13
Absolutely. Yep. And you saw how easy it is to make. So, and all of these beads are in your pretty and pink pretty and
    50:21
pink kit. I think I'm turning this one into a choker and I'm going to wear it this
    50:27
weekend. I'll take a picture. All right, you guys. Thank you so much for being here. Um, next week my hope
    50:38
my hope is to show you how I took both
    50:44
    September kits,
    50:50
both September kits. So, colorwave number one and color wave number two and
    50:56
merged them. And so that's my hope. Probably what
    51:02
will happen is that the base of the project will be done and then I'm going to show you what I'm dreaming up for the
    51:10
middle, which I think is just going to be like incredibly awesome. Like a a very big piece of art.
    51:18
Sounds good. Cynthia says, [laughter] "I think it's going to be pretty cool, too." So, and Danielle sent me the
    51:25
finished um September and both one and two, but they're not going to be here till tomorrow. Darn it. So, um that's
    51:32
just so weird. Usually, usually from Washington to California, it's like overnight, but not this time. So, I'll
    51:39
have those tomorrow uh next Thursday. But we will see you then. And I appreciate you so very, very, very, very
    51:45
much. And I'm almost done getting all of the kits dialed in and together. Um and
    51:50
