DIY Earrings: Turn Leftover Beads into Matching Jewelry

Learn how to weave a pair of earrings on the Baby Loom, using leaftover beads. Julianna C Avelar, creator of the Jewel Loom, shows you how, using 2 hole 6mm tile beads & pyramid beads, plus 6mm glass pearls, whiich were leftover from the September 2026 Jewel Loom Jewel Box and its second colorway companion box. The ends are easy to finish, using slide connectors. These earrings are quick and easy to weave. Watch the tutorial below.

There are still a few boxes left of each box used by Jewels in the above tutorial. They are only available while supplies last and will not be restocked. You can easily create earrings like this using only one of the boxes or mis them together to recreate the ones Jewels designed in this tutorial

    0:02 Welcome, welcome. Hey, I'm feeling I'm feeling a little 80s 90s because I'm

    0:08
only wearing one earring. And do you remember back in the day, back in the
    0:14
80s and the 90s, we had one earring that would be like long and then we had cuffs
    0:21
on our ears and then we would have our studs and then well the other ear which
    0:27
mine is completely has nothing was just blank. And so, while it's a fun look,
    0:34
and I know that we enjoy being creative and doing really funky things with our fashion, I do think that we will go
    0:41
ahead and we will make the second earring together. And I'm going to show
    0:46
you that you can make it thinner because you know me, I love the go big or go home. And um there is a way to actually
    0:54
only go two beads across. And so this is totally reminding me of that 80s9s look
    1:02
because this is what was going on. We were doing [laughter] two we were doing two different earrings
    1:10
back then and we were totally owning it. So without further ado, let's go ahead
    1:18
and I am using I'm using the baby jewel loom. All right. So that's half of the size of the original jewel loom. Hey,
    1:25
Linda. Um, and I'm going to be using the leftovers. So, if you remember, I took
    1:33
both September kits, I merged them together, and I made this amazing
    1:38
beautifulness. And so, with all the leftover beads, I was like, "Oh, well, I can still make
    1:44
something." And I decided to do the earrings. And then this is what I still have left. And I'll do that in the
    1:50
overhead for you. um wildfire jewel loom needles. I am using some of the seed
    1:56
beads that came in the kit. And um oh,
    2:02
and then I just grabbed like ear wires, headpens, jump rings, you
    2:09
know, all the little accudes that you need to make an earring. And I'm using the slider closure technique versus the
    2:17
old school ribbon clasp. I found that with the ribbon clasp over time
    2:24
it was separating from the beads and so I don't really do that anymore. I totally do the slider and I'm going to
    2:32
show you how I do that to make it even more secure. So, all right. And Nancy
    2:37
says hello from Nebraska. Hello. Hello. Linda is in Costa Rica. Love, love,
    2:44
love. And I'm in California. Joan's in Tennessee. So, now that we know where we are, I'm gonna take you down to the
    2:52
table [snorts] and we will get started. Um, get everything a little bit adjusted
    2:59
here. Oh, the days of having a live set on, you know, QVC, JTV, HSN. [laughter]
    3:09
How mama would love that. Joe and Llair, hello from Texas. Woo. Is it still hot
    3:15
and humid there? because it kind of feels like Texas hair in California. It's a little crazy. All right, so I'm
    3:21
just gonna move things over a hair. But look it look at this is I still have all
    3:26
of this available even after Let me take my earring out. Even after I made
    3:34
one of the earrings. Okay. And these were the extra glass pieces. This is a check pearl that I put at the bottom
    3:41
here. And then of course I have the ear wire that I mentioned, a jump ring, 20
    3:46
mm sliders. All right, you need a pair. And you're going to need that times two.
    3:52
Okay, so we're going to go ahead and we'll put that to the side. And I've got
    3:57
the baby jewel loom. Here we go. Okay. And like I mentioned, I'm using
    4:03
wildfire. This is a ginormous spool. Um, this is just something that I personally
    4:09
bought for the business so that when I'm doing demonstrations, I have a lot. And
    4:14
    there is oodles. Fi I don't know if that's a three or I think that's 300
    4:19
yards. Could be 500, but it's a lot of a lot a lot of. And it's a 006. And this
    4:25
is beige. Okay. So, I'm going to go ahead and turn
    4:30
baby loom over. And look, you could see I have used the baby loom a lot. And I mean, this is obviously not the only
    4:37
baby loom I have. I happen to have many. They're in the shop. Um, okay. So, let's
    4:43
find the end of our wildfire. Here we go. And when you're warping your looms, um,
    4:51
I always warp from the spool, unless you've bought like a kit because I
    4:56
pre-cut it for you. Then you don't have the spool. You just have like three yards or whatever the project calls for.
    5:03
Um, looking for my There we go.
    5:09
There we go. And so I'm going to I'm going to tie it a couple of times.
    5:16
All right. And I'm going to let my energy come down just a a tat because I get real excited. [laughter]
    5:23
So, I got to like I got to calm I got to chill my boots, babe. I got to chill my boots. Hi, Hermy. I love my baby loom.
    5:30
You know what, y'all? while I'm working on something and I hope to have it dialed in by the first of the year. It's
    5:37
going to be pretty fabulous using the baby loom. Okay, so what we're going to do, you saw that I tied onto the back
    5:43
here. Hi, Terry. And I come in with my pointer and I've got the wildfire is
    5:50
like sandwiched in my hand. And this is my right hand, by the way. And so what
    5:56
we're going to do, I'm going to push this back a hair. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to
    6:02
lay it down. Now, if you were going to use the entire width, you would come to
    6:09
the far side. Come to the far side, my darlings. Um, [laughter] but if you're
    6:15
just going to be using like a little bit of the grid, then you could just, you know, go in the middle, you know, kind
    6:21
of off center a little bit. Lay the wildfire down into one of the grooves. You could see how it's nestled into the
    6:27
groove. Flip your baby over. [laughter]
    6:33
What's that saying? Oh, and where did that even come from? Something about the baby and the and the wash or something.
    6:40
I don't know. It was weird. Anyh who, okay. So then what I'm going to do is I'm going to skip three groups to
    6:45
accommodate the six mm squares. And so is that three? One, two, three. And then
    6:53
come back around and come back up and skipping. And I've
    7:00
done this so many times. Serious you all. Like I could do it with my eyes closed, but you just take your time. Um,
    7:08
and then let me see. One, two, three. Okay. Wh
    7:13
Did you see that? There we go. And then all the way down.
    7:19
Now I'm going to go three across. And if you were going to make a thinner pair of earrings, um, you would I'm
    7:26
sorry. Let me correct myself. I'm going four across because I don't throw the
    7:32
baby out with bath water. [laughter] That's what the saying is. I don't know where that came from. We're going to
    7:38
have to Google that one. Um, two beads across, three warps. Three beads across, four warps. So, I still need to go one
    7:44
more. And that's one, two, three. Okay. And
    7:51
then back up. And so now my loom is ready, my warps.
    7:58
And I'm just going to wrap around a couple of times and then get my scissors that need to be sharpened. Um I forget
    8:06
the uh California [snorts] being so close to the beach, they get a
    8:12
little funky sometimes. And then I'm just going to tie. So we're going to I I This is how I tie. Let me get Okay, so I
    8:20
take the end of the warp and I just try my best to get under all the warps
    8:25
and then I go back through that loop. And honestly, we're just trying to make a knot without losing the grip on our
    8:33
warps. So, however you can get there. And then sometimes, like I'll just take
    8:38
both of the warps, both of the ends, and then I do that. And if I ever need any
    8:45
extra help, like a third hand, I just bring in my flat nose, and they always
    8:50
help. Okay. And then I'm gonna trim.
    8:58
All righty. So now my baby loom. Look at that. My baby.
    9:03
Where she at? Where's she at? Where's my baby at? Come on, baby. I got to get the
    9:09
right lighting. Oh well, it's in there. It says baby Juloom. [laughter]
    9:15
Mama knows best. Gwen a hello to you, beautiful human. All right, so now what
    9:23
we're going to do is All right, and this is really important. Um, I'm going to sprinkle out some 11 O's. These are the
    9:29
ones that come in the kit. Um, these come in the blue purple kit September
    9:35
and these, uh, come in the more fallike colors. And remember, I if you don't
    9:42
remember, I merged the two kits to make a ginormous cuff. So, I'm kind of I'm
    9:48
I'm not kind of I'm actually working with all the leftovers. All right. So, what we're going to do
    9:55
and again tying off um getting started, you know, Danielle has a technique. I
    10:02
typically just do a quick little knot. Um, other people, you know, they might
    10:08
do like a salvage back and forth. You're just anchoring your weft thread to the warps. And
    10:16
however you get there, um, that that's on you. Whatever you feel good, um, you
    10:23
know, I'm not coming after you. [laughter] So, this is the left side. My needle is
    10:28
in the left hand right now. This is my right hand. Oh, my lands my nails are dirty. Don't judge. I'm going to take
    10:35
the needle. I'm coming under coming under the warps and I'm transferring that needle and thread into my right
    10:41
hand. And just give me a hot minute here. Give me a hot minute.
    10:49
    Okay.
    10:54
Okay. So, here we go. Here we go. Okay. So, I'm going to pick up a 12. So, four
    11:03
11 O's will fit into each one of these grooves. You might want to write that down. Four 11 O's will fit into grooves
    11:11
into um warp threads into warp spaces that are accommodating a 6 mm bead
    11:19
    whether it be a square, a pyramid, a round. Um it's four 11 O's.
    11:25
    All right. So, what did I just do? 4 6 7 8
    11:35
    9 10 11 12. All right. So, I'm going to let
    11:43
those seed beads drop and then I'm going to I want to get this
    11:49
    piece centered.
    11:56
Sometimes getting those little guys into the little uh warp alleys can be a challenge, but today they're being kind.
    12:03
I'm going to um center. So, for me, let's see. What do I have? What letter do I have? It looks like
    12:11
looks like I'm on the Y of the baby. All right. And then I'm going to take the needle
    12:18
and I'm going back through the beads,
    12:23
all of them. Make sure you go back through all of them. Make sure that needle is gliding on top of the warps.
    12:29
If you are not on top of the warps, your beads are going to fall off and then you
    12:34
have to um do it all over again. Which, believe it or not, happened to me
    12:42
a few times yesterday and I was just cracking up. I was like, Jules, what are you doing, babe? Okay. So, we're going
    12:49
to pull. And we want to pull just nice and taut, you know, just so that they get into the
    12:55
um into the warps there. All right. And then
    13:02
we're going to come under and we're going to pick up our first row of
    13:09
squares. So, let me pour the squares in. And I've also got the leftover pearls in
    13:15
the pyramids. I mean, this is like a lot. like you probably could have made a thin um bracelet. And I'm not going to
    13:22
try to copy mine. I'm going to do it a little bit different. So, let's start with a copper. And um remember, if you
    13:33
want the pyramid to be facing up to the to the ceiling or you want the color
    13:39
because like this bead is uh like an orange on one side and then it's a purple on another side. And so I want
    13:47
I want the purple to be face up. So I need to come take my needle and come to
    13:53
the side top left hole. All right. And
    13:58
then what else do I got? Let's get one of the blue guys. And there we go. I got them all on.
    14:09
And uhoh. What did mama do? Ah.
    14:14
So, I'm working with about a yard uh plus a pinch [laughter]
    14:20
of wildfire. So, just remember when you have that much, just go slow. Don't try
    14:25
to go to the races and win cuz you're just going to get frustrated. So, now
    14:31
I'm going to pop these up into and in between the warp threads.
    14:39
Okay. And I'm going to go back through the top hole. And again, my needle my needle
    14:47
should be gliding on top of the warps.
    14:54
And I'm going to pull all the way.
    14:59
All right. And so that's the first hole on the two-hole bead. And now what I'm going to do, this is this is I don't
    15:07
think I've shown this before because yesterday it dawned on me that this was
    15:13
part of the problem of why sometimes the connection between the slider and
    15:20
the first row of beads separates. Okay. So, um, what I'm doing
    15:28
is I'm going to go back through the top row here of all these seed beads
    15:36
because that top row is not connected. It needs to connect to all those squares
    15:41
so that they don't separate. Okay. So, I'm just securing
    15:47
and I'm going slow. I'm not being impatient. And now I'm gonna connect and
    15:53
go back through. And let me just make sure because it's
    15:58
awfully tight. Okay, it looks like I'm through. Okay, so
    16:05
I'm going to pull. And now I'm back to where I was. And did you see that? Did you see how the kissing between that row
    16:12
of 11 O's and that 6 mm square happened? So now I feel better about the whole
    16:19
slider situation. Okay. So I'm going to push the two holes down so that the hole
    16:25
is underneath. And I'm going to bring this up to the camera. It's they're underneath the
    16:31
warps. And I'm going through the bottom hole. I'll do a little wiggle wiggle to make sure. And then I'm going to come in
    16:40
and show you. I have to hold steady so that the camera enjoys the shot. And you
    16:45
can see that. And so we're going to pull the
    16:52
needle. The needle's coming out on my right side.
    16:57
And I pull. And then I'm going to pop
    17:03
I pop the squares back up. Go back through the bottom hole again. Making
    17:08
sure that my needle is on top of the warps and I can see the silver part of
    17:14
the needle and so I know that all is well. Okay, perfect. So
    17:19
there's our first row and I will So squares are funny.
    17:26
[laughter] squares are funny and the colors are funny
    17:32
because you can tell um that the blue and the copper are not exactly the same
    17:39
square shape as this two-toned purple orange gold one. This one is slightly
    17:46
smaller. I don't know why, but it is what it is. And I think I've talked about before
    17:52
like the peacock ones. Oi, they're so chunky. Um, I just go with it. I don't
    17:58
try to like get overwhelmed by it or frustrated or, you know, like bummed out. I think it's fine. So, again, I'm
    18:05
going to pick up a pyramid. And I want the pyramid, the pokey part to be up
    18:10
towards the ceiling. So, I'm going to come over here with my needle. And it's going into
    18:17
it's going into the top hole on the left side. All right. So,
    18:26
we'll pick that one up. And then let's go ahead and pick up another pyramid. Again, top hole on the left side. And
    18:33
we'll pick up another purple. And do the same thing. And so this way, all of your
    18:38
py pyramids will be faced up, which is what we want.
    18:44
And that worked. So that's that's a good thing. All right. And we're going to take the needle. We're going to go back
    18:50
through again. Just making sure the needle is on top of the warps. and pulling.
    18:58
And then we'll push the bead down so that again
    19:04
the bottom hole is under the warps. And then I take the needle from the left side and I'm going through the bottom
    19:11
holes. And then again I'll do a little wiggle wiggle.
    19:20
And I'm always adjusting as I go. And you've probably seen me do that even when I'm doing my bracelets. Right side
    19:27
of the loom, bottom hole, going back through it, making sure I'm on top of
    19:32
the warps and all the way out.
    19:38
And I'm kind of just doing a pattern of like, you know, [clears throat] like a a
    19:44
quilt, right? Like just um a random a random quilt. Uh, let's see. Like
    19:52
patchwork. So, this time, let's bring in
    19:57
let's bring in one of the purple guys. Well, then if I do it that way, the blue is going to be up. That's okay. That's
    20:03
pretty. And let's do let's do that guy. And then let's do the reverse of that
    20:10
guy. So, going to turn him over and go from up to the left
    20:16
top hole. That's really pretty. And again, these are just my leftover
    20:22
beads from making making mixing the two kits, which there is quantity available
    20:28
in the shop. And when you do buy
    20:33
both of them, um you get 10% off of um
    20:40
the one kit. So, I still have that in place. We did that last week and I'm still doing it. I haven't um I haven't
    20:47
stopped that. Okay, wait. What did I just do?
    20:52
How did I get [laughter] Okay, got ahead of myself. Okay, so push
    20:58
them down. [laughter] I did go back through that, right? I must have. There's no way I'd be on the
    21:04
left side. That's so funny. Okay, now I'm going through the bottoms again. And these three beads are very um very
    21:11
similar in shape. You know, they're very um consistent.
    21:19
And and it's not that the copper and the blue isn't. It's just that the copper and blue seem to be a little bit more big.
    21:26
Okay. And then we're going to come through here going through the bottom hole. And again, gliding on top of the
    21:32
warps and scooching up. I'm always checking.
    21:37
I'm just always checking to make sure that everything is as straight as possible. And then I'm going to bring in
    21:43
some pearls. Love, love, love the check glass pearls. They are just so stinking pretty. So,
    21:49
we're going to do a teal and then we'll do a gold.
    21:55
Hello. And we'll do another teal.
    22:07
And let that fall. Pop those up. And we're going to go back
    22:13
through that single hole. And again, you know, it's not wanting to
    22:20
go straight across, so I'm not going to force it. I'm just going to go in at an angle. And then I will adjust.
    22:31
Okay. And then I'm pulling. And I'm always making sure that I don't have any excess thread because like I've
    22:37
mentioned before, it's such a bummer if you didn't pull tight enough and then you got like a little ribbon sticking
    22:42
out there. So always try to pull tight enough to make sure that everything is nice and even. And then we're going to
    22:50
come again and let's see. This time we'll do the reverse of the pyramids.
    22:56
So, we'll do a lavender and then a pyramid
    23:04
and a lavender. And in case you're new here, that is Marlin Brando, my Frenchie, in the
    23:10
background kind of passively snoring. It's not as obnoxious as normal,
    23:17
but he is he is back there doing his thing.
    23:23
And in case you're really really new, um I am Juliana, the inventor of the Jewel
    23:28
Loom and the Baby Loom. And gosh, they've been out. Well, the
    23:34
original Jewel Loom's been on the market for at least 13 years now. I think it's
    23:39
been quite a long time. And then back through that bottom hole.
    23:47
All righty. And just scooching it up. And how many? Let's see. I think this is going to be my last row. 1 2 3 4 5 6 1 2
    23:56
3 4 5. So, this will be my last row. And I'm going to end with um some two whole
    24:03
squares. So, let's pick up a blue. And let's pick up an orange.
    24:10
And again, we're just kind of randomly picking up. You can certainly lay out a
    24:16
pattern if you want to. And then we're going to let these fall
    24:27
and back through the top row. And pull that nice and taut. And scooch
    24:34
    those down. Come under.
    24:41
And we're going through the bottom hole. And a little wiggle wiggle to make sure the needle is in.
    24:50
Every time I just about bead myself right off of the table. And then I'm going back through. And now the final
    24:57
row will be another row of 11 O's. Um you could use 8 O's. They will fit in
    25:03
the sliders. And 8 O's are going to be three. So you would do nine. And I'm
    25:09
just going to scooch this pile. Look at I still have so many leftovers.
    25:16
That's again both kits merged. Both September kits, original September jewel
    25:21
box and then the um second color wave.
    25:26
So, let me just get those out of our way and get back into the frame here.
    25:35
And coming under. And then I'm going to pick up 12 11 O seed beads. Okay. Hello, Zach. Nice
    25:44
to see you. So, one, two, three,
    25:49
four, five. Whoops. Five. Six. Come on,
    25:54
    baby. Um, 6
    26:00
    7 8 9 10
    26:07
11 12. And then I'm going to pop those up.
    26:15
And again, we want four in each
    26:21
warped section. And so that looks great.
    26:26
And I'm gonna make sure that I am on top of the warps because it's such a bummer
    26:33
with the little guys if I'm not. Okay. Yeah, if you're not on top of the warps, then your beads will fall. So,
    26:41
okay. So, yay. [laughter] Now, um, part of the reason why I cut so
    26:47
much wildfire to start with is that I want to go back through this entire
    26:54
earring as much as possible. Again, I have just I don't know if it's with my long hair. I don't know. Um, I
    27:02
have just found that the earrings that I weave definitely need to be
    27:09
reinforced. So, the way that I'm doing that is I'm going back through
    27:16
    all of the rows. Okay.
    27:23
And then I'm just going to check. Yeah. See, I want to make sure both ends are are
    27:30
connected. So, I'm going to go back through the seed beads. Again, I don't think that you can ever over
    27:37
reinforce the row of seed beads regardless of whether it's 8 O's or 11 O's and that
    27:44
first row of squares. Okay. [snorts] So, now I'm just going to weave back
    27:50
    through.
    27:58
And this just really um makes your earring even more secure. And if you're making
    28:06
these and selling them, you know, you always want your pieces to be as secure
    28:11
as possible. I mean, we can't always know what our clients are going to do once they buy the pieces. They might be
    28:18
a little rough. Um, but we can do our part and
    28:25
make the piece as secure as possible. Um, so yeah. So, I'm just taking the
    28:31
extra wildfire and I'm going back through every single row.
    28:40
And again, I just really feel from all the times I have made these earrings
    28:45
that this is where I've gotten to um with my suggestions,
    28:51
my tips that this is the way that we need to do these.
    29:09
Okay. Okay. And even though even though I'm going to do it again, like I said, I don't think you if you
    29:15
can still get that needle in there, then then go for it. Now, I'm going to turn the uh baby loom around and I'm going to
    29:22
come up through, okay, through that bottom hole. And then
    29:28
I'm going to sneak out. And if you have a different type of way that you like to end your thread, then
    29:35
you can do that. Um, this is just how I do it. Easy peasy pumpkin squeezy. I do a
    29:43
little knot. And I'm going to go ahead and do two little knots.
    29:48
And then I just hide them in the back of the project at the end here. I take the
    29:54
needle, I push it down to the back. All right. And that um
    30:02
and that is that. So, let's go ahead and I'm going to flip this over now.
    30:09
And I do, just like when I'm using the big loom, I like to hold the beads as best as possible just because they are
    30:16
glass. Um, the baby loom, by the way, is always in the warped position. There's
    30:22
no rod, so you don't have to worry about it bouncing. Whoops. [laughter]
    30:27
Just have to worry about me stomping on my own beads here. Let me get rid of these guys. or let me put them back into their
    30:34
homes. That was so rude. Okay. [laughter] All right. So, I'm going to cut.
    30:43
And then we have our earring. Okay. And then I'm going to go ahead. I
    30:50
want to get rid of the Let's see where we at.
    30:56
I'm going go ahead and very carefully trim.
    31:02
Okay. And so I'll put the needle over to the side. And then I'm going to come over here and I'm just going to tie
    31:09
these two warps together. So remember, all these knots and that row of seed
    31:14
beads are going to be hidden by the slide connector.
    31:21
Um I do have slide connectors in the shop.
    31:26
And so you'll need 20 uh m if you're doing three across and
    31:35
you'll need 13 if you're only going to do two 6 mm beads across.
    31:44
Okay. And then I'm going to come over here
    31:52
    and do the same thing.
    32:02
That's a great question. Uh, which loom do you use the most, the jewel loom or
    32:08
    the baby loom?
    32:15
I mean, I definitely find myself using the original Jewel Loom the most just
    32:21
because um but I think that's why I've gotten so
    32:26
inspired lately to look at the possibilities with the baby loom.
    32:33
And so I'm really excited about that. Okay, so these are all cut
    32:38
and let me see what's going on. I'm going to go ahead and trim this guy very
    32:44
carefully. Again, that knot's going to be covered in the slider.
    32:51
You can if it makes your world uh feel better. [laughter]
    32:57
You could certainly put like a little bit of hypo cement um or you know white glue
    33:04
on top of these little knots. You don't it's not a deal breaker, but just we're
    33:10
cutting really close to the knot. So, whatever makes you feel
    33:15
    safe with your knot cutting
    33:22
original jewel loom, unless Jules does a tutorial. Okay.
    33:27
Whoops. Where did that piece come from? Oh, see, my scissors really need to be sharpened.
    33:34
I need to take all of my scissors to one of those places, I guess.
    33:46
So, I'm just cutting um above the knot. Okay. So, now
    33:52
now now we're going to bring in our slider.
    34:00
And the slider has one end that has like this cute little cute little cap. And
    34:05
what you can do is take your flats and I just like to open
    34:11
it up a little bit more. And what I will say sometimes when I do
    34:17
my 80 O's, let me bring this up a little more. Sometimes when I do my 80s, I feel like I have to
    34:24
put like say my um my chain or just
    34:30
something that's most pointy both noses into that and then like expand it a
    34:36
little bit. With 11 O's, I haven't had a problem. So, what I do is I grab with my
    34:42
flats. You see the little hook right there? grab with my flats and then I
    34:48
just walk it in. Okay. And then it just slides over the
    34:54
eight over the 11 O's. Okay. So, that's good news. And then I
    35:00
lay it down and I take my flats again and I help to close.
    35:07
Sometimes they're very stubborn, so you just be careful. Don't like smush your
    35:12
finger. But there's the first one. And then
    35:18
let's get this one. Oh, hello. Where's your opening?
    35:23
Excuse me. These are not the ones that are in the shop. These are just for my
    35:28
personal stash. Let me see if I can't get in there. If not, I'll have to go. Let me go um let me grab another one
    35:38
from the personal stash box. You know what's funny is I think I could
    35:43
see beads in that one. I wonder if that fell off [laughter] from something. Okay, [clears throat] so
    35:49
here we go again. Let's put that one to the side. Let's open that a little more.
    35:54
Grab it um with the flats. I like to go in the same direction so that the ends
    36:01
match up. I don't think it's a deal breaker, but you know. Whoops. Come on
    36:07
now. All right. So, are you Oh, you're kind of you're kind of grumpy in there. So, let
    36:13
me see if these will work. I'm just kind of like bring like I said bring in some
    36:18
pliers and then try to smush them open a little bit
    36:24
and then go back [snorts] and
    36:34
No, there we go. Okay. So, if that ever happens and it won't slide over, it's
    36:41
probably because the opening is ever so too tight. So just very carefully take
    36:46
some, you know, long pointy pliers and put that in there and just stretch it
    36:52
open. But be very careful. So again, taking the flats, holding it down,
    36:59
    smooshing. Whoops. Okay.
    37:04
Awesome sauce. All right. So there's that part. And now what we want to do is we want to add our little dangly dupe.
    37:13
Um, again, the these were left over from the kits.
    37:19
And so I just took one of the rondell's, the large one, the smaller one, and I did decide to use some pearls cuz I just
    37:26
think how stinking cute. I'm going to, and no judging, this is not my strength
    37:33
doing all these loops and yada yada. I've told you that before. I'm going to
    37:39
tell you again. [laughter] And you say, "Get a looper. Get a looper. I know. I know. All right. So,
    37:45
when I'm cutting, um, I like to hold both pieces so that the wire doesn't go back up into my eye
    37:53
or somebody else's. Um, and then I'm just going to bring in the rounds. Pretend that I know what I'm
    37:59
doing here. It's not that I don't know what I'm doing, but you know.
    38:06
All right. I did good. [laughter] All right. Bring in my ear wire. Bring
    38:13
in my two jumps. I still had, believe it or not, I still had one more tiny little um
    38:21
rondelle. So, I'm going to get these guys out of the [clears throat] way.
    38:27
I got like lots of bits and pieces. Going to move everybody. All right.
    38:33
Move those. Get back into the camera. This is my finished one. I'm just going to move out of the way really quick.
    38:39
So, what I want to do is I have my I don't need my rounds anymore, but I'm going to bring in my chain.
    38:45
And I think Yeah, I think this is Is that the guy I want? Let me see. Yeah,
    38:53
I'm really funny about jump rings, too. I will use the biggest jump ring known to mankind.
    39:01
And this is not big. I have big ones. [laughter] I have much bigger jump rings. Okay.
    39:07
Okay. So, I'm going to go through that um little hook there. Put the ear wire on. And again, if you
    39:14
do this differently, knock your socks off. [laughter] Do it your way. I'm just doing it mine.
    39:22
I like to go back and forth and hear that little click. [snorts]
    39:27
So, there's the ear wire. And then we're going to do the same thing on the bottom here.
    39:33
I've got the flats and opening that up. Putting it into the
    39:42
    hole. And then boom.
    39:47
And then I'm going to kiss these two together. Again, I like to hear the little click.
    39:55
Um, this might this one might have gotten a little off center.
    40:10
Okay, awesome sauce. And there we have it. We have our second earring.
    40:19
And I just want to lay out everything really quick here. So, we have our pair
    40:25
of earrings. We have this was the second color wave. This was the bracelet um using
    40:33
the second color way. This was the original color way that we did with the jewel box. This was the September box.
    40:43
And then if you recall, and I'll make sure that all of this is um attached to the end of the video, this is what I did
    40:50
when I took both kits. I mean, I wore this out dancing and even
    40:57
the band members, one of them was like, "Is that the bracelet that you just made?" And I was like almost embarrassed
    41:03
because I was like, "Oh my god, you know that I'm making [laughter] you know that I made this." But look at
    41:09
how gorge, my Ariat boots, and a really pretty off
    41:16
the shoulder black shirt. But I'm just so stoked about this. And
    41:23
then every the um I still there's still some of these left and I had said that I
    41:29
would put these into the kit. This long bead right here um as long as I had
    41:34
some. I can't remember how many I have left of those. But I did end up using
    41:40
a long kind of like a surfboard. It looks like a surfboard. And I went with black. Originally, I think I had showed
    41:46
you in the previous video that I might go with a brown like neutral,
    41:53
    but I just I felt like the gold it's kind of like a I don't know. It's like a
    41:59
copper gold in indent here design. I felt like it matched the regalness of
    42:05
the overall bracelet. And so I that's why I did that. But isn't it to die for?
    42:11
I mean, come on now. So again, both kits, earrings, and I still have leftover
    42:19
beads from both kits. Leftover seed beads. I cannot get enough. I want to do
    42:24
something. I wonder Oh, you know what? Maybe I could just do an 11 o seedbead ring. How
    42:31
pretty would that be? Because really, if you're wearing something as gorgeous as this, do you really want to I don't
    42:37
know. Like I would, but maybe I should just do something calm. [laughter]
    42:43
You know, I could always sew Oh, I could sew this in. Yes, I could sew the vintage check glass
    42:52
    bead button into the base
    42:58
of this gorgeous seedbead palette. And that could be a ring. That would be so
    43:04
amazing. Okay, ideas, ideas. And still a ton of these.
    43:11
So, yeah, still lots of beads left over for other other projects. All right, I'm
    43:18
going to come up. I'm going to come up and put my earrings on. So, let me go to
    43:25
    the forward facing camera.
    43:33
And I got Oh, I got to put my earrings on. I even kind of went with a
    43:39
Do you remember? cuz I remember the the 80s 90s and I used to Do you remember
    43:45
how we would slick one side back and then like bring all of our hair over
    43:51
to here? Did any of you do that? I know I did that. Okay. So, I'm going
    43:58
to put one of the earrings on.
    44:05
And again, you can make these thinner. I'll show you the thinner version of a different uh style or a different color
    44:11
    palette. Your daughters did.
    44:18
Oh my gosh. I mean, come on now. Let me bring you closer. Let me bring you into my world.
    44:25
Let me bring you into my world. I got hair stuck everywhere.
    44:31
    I just can't even. They're They're really pretty, guys.
    44:37
They're really pretty. A Caroline, I'm so happy to hear that,
    44:43
honey. I'll be back on at 6 o'clock tonight over on my my whatnot. But this
    44:49
is these are thinner, right? So, like you go two across.
    44:54
You go two across. And there's nothing wrong with that. I like that, too.
    45:00
But, uh, that would be a 13 mm by by the way. 13 ml would go
    45:06
across two 6 mm beads and a 20
    45:12
would be um what I have on.
    45:17
    So [laughter]
    45:24
I don't know. September's got me all like all like wooing.
    45:30
I just got a box for October. gemstones. [snorts]
    45:38
So, I'm excited to sit with them and and dream up October for you. But
    45:46
September, it's like the song, Do you remember
    45:54
    the thin versions
    46:00
and wear these on the other ones? on the other arm. They're so substantial, by the way. It's very
    46:07
substantial. Okay. Um I'll make sure to put
    46:15
tag the end videos for the cuff. All right. Can't get enough of that
    46:21
cuff. Love the closure. Love that I decided to go with the black. I think it finished
    46:27
it off really, really well. And yeah.
    46:33
Okay. Um, I feel like there was something else I was going to tell you all. So, we are into October for the
    46:40
jewel box. Uh, literally did not have any openings for
    46:46
the jewel box until November 1st. Put a couple extra kits in there for October.
    46:53
I don't know how. I'll figure it out. [snorts] But um I
    47:00
just something told me to go I had I was getting like let me know when it's open again. Let me know when it's open again.
    47:05
I'm like oh my heck just to open it up and roll the dice. We'll figure it out.
    47:11
I'll just buy more stuff. Uh so that that's that story. I don't know what we're doing. I just bought the products
    47:18
and I have I visuals. I have visuals. Um it'll be pretty. It's
    47:25
always pretty. And And I'm excited. I'm excited. You guys,
    47:32
which month is it? It's I think it's going to be November. Hold on. Wait.
    47:38
Yeah. So, in November, we're going to be working with
    47:44
warping with wire. And so, I got the Beetleon color craft in the rose gold.
    47:52
So, everyone's going to get a spool of this
    47:58
and we're going to be warping with wire. We're going to be making chain with those Hawaiian flowers
    48:05
and we're going to be beading a floral floral
    48:10
pattern on a really cool necklace. I'm super stoked about that. I'm excited for
    48:17
what's coming up. I'm excited to be designing and inspiring you. Okay. Caroline says,
    48:24
"I usually wear white tops. I just bought a black top to wear my colorful." Oh, okay. And that's so funny because I
    48:31
do love wearing white. I do. Um, Linda says, "So, I need two of each kit to
    48:37
make to make you need Oh, you need two of
    48:43
each kit to make all the bracelets and earrings."
    48:48
Okay, [snorts] let me do math, Linda. So this was this itself
    48:53
took up the majority of both of those kits. And then this and this and a pair
    48:59
