Large format for bigger ideas

The working area measures 8 inches wide by 17 inches long. Warp from the front to the back of the loom to create up to 34 inches of weaving length, giving you extra space for jewelry, home décor, fashion pieces, and other creative projects.

Leave the Baltic birch natural, or make the loom your own with stain, paint, or color. The Sun Weaver Loom features extra width, extended length, and multi-sized grooves to support a range of bead-weaving projects. It complements the original Jewel Loom products and can be used alongside them to create your favorite designs.

Ready to use

Your loom arrives fully assembled with permanently attached risers and grooves, plus a stability insert to help keep the risers from bending. The included weaving loom needle and comb are ready to use.

Basic weaving instructions

Tie one end of your thread to the top groove, then warp the loom by skipping grooves as needed for your project. Tie the other end to the corresponding top or bottom groove. Create your weft by guiding the needle back and forth through the warp threads. When your project is finished, trim the excess thread and carefully remove it from the loom.

Caring for your loom

A light coating of beeswax can help keep the wood smooth and less prone to splintering. Baltic birch can also be stained, painted, or finished with a stain that includes a poly base for a glossy or matte look.

Please note: Because this is a natural, untreated Baltic birch product, slight color or shade variations are normal. Although the loom is strong and flexible, handle and store it with care to help prevent damage.
