The finished hatband measures just shy of one inch wide by just shy of 22 inches long

Hat pattern should be a little longer.

Just an FYI, the average hat size for a woman is 22.5 inches. Men are larger usually around 23 and up in inches. This hat band size is slightly too short for the average woman's hat. (I am a hat maker.)
