Juliana C Avelar, creator of the Jewel Loom & international designer/innovation, teaches how to weave beads on the Jewel Loom bead loom in this tutorial. She uses both single hole beads & 2 hole beads, showing how to weave both. This is a great tutorial for beginners to learn the tips & tricks of bead weaving on the loom, besides a refresher course for experienced bead loomers to remember the tips & tricks they may have forgotten.
Tips: Beading on the loom with two hole beads is not as hard as you may think. If your 2 hole beads have a back & a front, make sure the beads are in a line, facing upward, before putting your needle through the top hole of the beads. After aligning your beads between the warps, pass your needle through the same holes at the top again, making sure the needle is passing over the warps between the beads. Then do the same for the bottom holes. Another hint–make sure both your top & bottom holes go all the way through (not clogged or undrilled), before starting to weave with them.
